FADE IN:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - ALLEYS - DAY

A man comes running. Better saying, Demon #1 comes running. Prue comes running after him. The demon reaches a blind alley. He stops and looks around. No way out. Prue comes in. She stops. He turns around and faces her. Prue WAVES her hand and throws the demon, TELEKINETICALLY, against some garbage containers. The demon gets up quickly. Demon #1 creates a FIREBALL and throws it against Prue. The girl reaches out her hand and ICE comes from it. The ICE hits the FIREBALL which gets frozen and hits the ground. Both the demon and Prue stare at each other. Prue WAVES her hand again, but this time uses TELEKINETIC MOLECULAR COMBUSTION to blow up the demon. Demon #1 is vanquished. Prue stares at the place he just was. Chris comes in running. He stops as he sees Prue. Chris is breathless.

CHRIS

Hey!

Prue turns around.

CHRIS (CONT'D)

Did you vanquish him already?

PRUE

I didn't wait for you that's for sure.

CHRIS

How can you run that fast with those heels?

CLOSE UP: PRUE'S MEDIUM HEELS BOOTS.

PRUE

After all these years, you're curious now?

Chris is still breathless.

PRUE (CONT'D)

What happened to the one you were dealing with?

CHRIS

(tries to stand straight)

You mean the demon?

Prue nods.

CHRIS (CONT'D)

He's not a problem anymore.

Prue smiles. Chris' phone rings. He picks it up.

CHRIS (CONT'D)

(on the phone)

Mel?

(listens)

Where?

(listens)

Yes, I know where it is.

Chris hangs off the phone.

PRUE

What is it?

CHRIS

An esoteric shop downtown?

PRUE

Which one?

CHRIS

Ankara's.

Prue recognizes the name.

PRUE

Oh My God! The owners are witches.

CHRIS

Real witches?

PRUE

The ones with powers, yes. Let's go.

Prue BEAMS out. Chris shrugs and ORBS out right after her.

CUT TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - DOWNTOWN - STREET - DAY

This is a very busy street. Lots of cars are parked in the avenue. Prue and Chris walk fast.

CUT TO:

EXT. ANKARA'S ESOTERIC SHOP - DAY

Prue and Chris approach the shop and stop. They look at the front.

PRUE

It's here.

Prue approaches her hand to the door handle.

CLOSE UP: PRUE'S HAND OPENING THE DOOR.

CUT TO:

INT. ANKARA’S SHOP – DAY

CLOSE UP: BOOKS AND ESOTERIC OBJECTS ARE SCATTERED OVER THE FLOOR. IT LOOKS LIKE A FIGHT TOOK PLACE THERE.

No one there to be seen. Prue comes in followed by Chris. Prue signs Chris to be silent. They come in carefully trying not to make any noise.

A SOUND is heard from the back of the shop. A woman’s cry. Prue and Chris exchange glances. Chris signs Prue to move on. They head to the back of the shop.

CUT TO:

INT. ANKARA’S SHOP – STOREROOM – DAY

CLOSE UP: AN ATHAME NEXT TO A WOMAN’S NECK.

A Warlock (DALTON, looks 33) is holding the athame next to a woman´s neck. KARA (28) is crying. The Warlock is enjoying her suffering. He laughs.

Prue and Chris come in.

CHRIS

Let her go.

Dalton and Kara look at them. Dalton smiles as he sees them.

DALTON

Not a chance.

Chris WAVES his hands trying to use TELEKINESIS on the Warlock, but --- BEAT. It doesn’t work. Dalton smiles.

DALTON (CONT'D)

It won’t work on me, Witch!

Prue and Chris exchange glances. Prue WAVES her hands and the same happens: nothing.

PRUE

(whispers to Chris)

What’s wrong with our powers?

CHRIS

No idea.

Both Prue and Chris start getting nervous. Dalton approaches the athame even more to Kara’s neck.

KARA

(crying)

No!

Prue makes a move to approach them. Dalton approaches the athame even more.

DALTON

Step back, Witch!

Prue WAVES her hands again and nothing. She tries to use CRYOKINESIS and nothing as well.

PRUE

Let her go!

Not thinking twice, Dalton cuts Kara’s neck relentless.

CLOSE UP: LIFE STARTS LEAVING KARA’S EYES.

PRUE (CONT'D)

No!

Kara's powers TRANSFER to the Warlock. Dalton let’s go of Kara who falls down the floor, lifeless. He smiles. Prue runs towards the Warlock. Chris runs fast towards Kara and tries to heal her. Dalton pushes Prue towards a shelve. Chris’s powers are not working on Kara. The woman is already dead and his powers can’t heal the dead. Dalton is about to approach Prue who is trying to stand. Chris sees Dalton walking towards Prue. Chris looks around maybe trying to find something to attack the Warlock. Dalton gets on Prue and threatens to stab her with the athame.

CLOSE UP: CRYSTAL BALL.

Chris sees a Crystal Ball on the floor and runs towards it. He takes it and approaches fast towards the Warlock and Prue. He hits Dalton on the head with the Crystal Ball. Dalton is dizzy and lets go of Prue. Chris drops the Crystal Ball on the floor and helps Prue to stand.

PRUE (CONT'D)

(to Chris)

Thanks.

Dalton is in pain, but he manages to stand. He looks at Prue and Chris and BLINKS out. Prue and Chris exchange glances. Then, they realize Kara’s body. They run towards her and get down to her level. Kara’s eyes remind open. Prue takes Kara’s vital signs, but nothing.

CHRIS

I tried to ---

PRUE

(cuts him off)

Try again.

Chris puts his hands over Kara’s neck, but nothing. It doesn’t work.

CHRIS

I can’t heal the dead, Prue.

Prue has a sad expression on her face. She looks at Kara and closes her eyes.

PRUE

I’m so sorry.

Prue and Chris exchange glances. Worried glances.

CUT TO BLACK.

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO – DAY

A view all over the town and its famous landscape and sights at the sound of ‘The Greatest’ by Sia.

CUT TO:

EXT. ANKARA’S SHOP – DAY

CLOSE UP: CRIME SCENE TAPE COVERING THE ENTRANCE OF THE ESOTERIC SHOP.

Cops are coming in and out the shop. Two police cars are parked outside. Prue and Chris are by one of the cars. Junior is with them. Another Inspector (MARCO DELGADO, 35) is with them. Inspector Delgado is interviewing Prue and Chris.

MARCO

So, you just find her death?

CHRIS

Yes, Inspector. We came in and no one was on the front. We head in and found her already death.

MARCO

(looks at Prue)

Why didn’t you called 911 immediately?

Prue and Chris exchange glances.

PRUE

We didn’t think about it.

Inspector Delgado takes some notes. Then, he looks at Prue again.

MARCO

What were you doing here anyway?

PRUE

We are customers.

Inspector Delgado shoots Chris a look.

MARCO

(to Chris)

Are you a regular customer of this kind of shops, Mr. Halliwell?

Chris and Prue exchange glances.

CHRIS

My wife is.

(disguises)

What does it have to do with the case?

MARCO

We just want to understand what happened here, Mr. Halliwell.

JUNIOR

(to Marco)

I think we have enough to start with, Marco.

Marco and Junior exchange glances.

MARCO

I’ll be inside.

Inspector Delgado shots a last look at Prue and then heads inside the shop. Prue, Chris and Junior watche him as he gets in. Then, Junior turns to Prue and Chris.

CHRIS

Not one of the nicest person I ever met.

JUNIOR

No, that one is one we have to be careful with. He suspects everything.

PRUE

I don’t like him.

JUNIOR

What really happened in there?

CHRIS

A Warlock. He killed Kara.

JUNIOR

Why didn’t you stop him?

PRUE

We tried to.

(pauses)

Our powers didn’t work on him.

JUNIOR

(astonished)

What?

CHRIS

We both tried to, but nothing. Speaking of ---

(to Prue)

--- We should go home and see why they didn’t work.

(to Junior)

Are we free to go?

JUNIOR

Sure. Keep me posted.

Chris and Prue nod. Both walk away. Junior stares at the shop and takes a deep breath. Then, he goes in.

CUT TO:

EXT. HALLIWELL MANOR – DAY

STOCK

CUT TO:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR – ATTIC – DAY

Melinda is there in front of the BOS and on the phone.

MELINDA

(on the phone)

Have you found the demon?

DAMON (O.S.)

No, I haven’t. It wasn’t his lair. I encounter another demon.

MELINDA

(on the phone)

What happened?

DAMON (O.S.)

You know, the usual. He attacked me.

MELINDA

(on the phone; worried)

Are you OK?

DAMON (O.S.)

Just a scratch. I’ll be fine.

(pauses)

I’ll call you back ---

(pauses)

--- I think I found the right lair.

MELINDA

(on the phone)

OK.

Melinda hangs off the phone.

SOUND: A SMALL EXPLOSION.

In the attic is also Pandora next to the table preparing a potion.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

Are you OK?

PANDORA

Yeah. This is done.

(glances at Melinda)

Worried about Damon?

MELINDA

(disguises)

No. I’m worried about everything that’s going on.

PANDORA

(sad)

Yeah, poor Kara.

Pandora pours the potion into a couple of potion bottles. Melinda looks at what Pandora is doing.

MELINDA

What is that for?

PANDORA

You know, the demon you send us to hunt, ---

Pandora blinks to Melinda.

PANDORA (CONT'D)

--- Boss.

MELINDA

Don’t call me that.

PANDORA

What do you want me to call you? You’ve been taking care of this whole hunting thing for the past two weeks.

MELINDA

Well, when you don't get an offensive power best thing to do is to command.

Pandora shoots Melinda a look.

PANDORA

Don't say that. You're good in what you do.

Melinda doesn't think the same.

MELINDA

Yeah, right!

At that moment, Chris ORBS in followed by Prue who BEAMS in. Melinda and Pandora look at them.

CHRIS

(to Prue)

It worked!

PRUE

I can see.

MELINDA

Hey, your powers ---

PRUE

Yeah, they worked!

CHRIS

Why didn't they work back there?

PRUE

Bite me!

PANDORA

Maybe that demon put some spell in the shop to block witches powers.

CHRIS

(corrects Pandora)

Warlock. It was a Warlock.

PANDORA

Whatever.

MELINDA

How was it?

Prue and Chris exchange glances.

PRUE

(looks at Melinda)

Awful. We saw the life leaving her body.

Prue lowers her gaze.

PRUE (CONT'D)

I need a shower. Sorry.

Prue seems down. She walks out the attic. They watch her leaving. Once she leaves, the others look at one another.

PANDORA

How is she?

CHRIS

Holding on. Like the rest of us.

Chris lowers his gaze.

PANDORA

I should take this ---

(shows them the potions)

--- to the girls.

Melinda nods yes to Pandora. Pandora ORBS out. Chris and Melinda exchange glances.

MELINDA

I should go talk to Kara's sister. Thanks, God she wasn't in the shop at the same time.

CHRIS

You know where to find her?

MELINDA

I got her phone number. I'll meet her.

CHRIS

Maybe she can tell us more.

MELINDA

You stay here, Chris. Prue may need you.

Chris nods yes. Melinda walks out the attic. Chris takes a deep breath.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR - WYATT / PRUE BEDROOM - DAY

Prue comes in and takes off her black leather jacket. She heads towards the dresser and stops in front of it. She looks herself in the dresser mirror. Then she looks to a jewelry box on it. She opens the box and takes a lovely ring from it. The ring has a small ruby stone.

CLOSE UP: RUBY RING.

FLASHES TO:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR - ATTIC - DAY (TWELVE YEARS BEFORE - FLASHBACK)

A young man comes in the attic followed by a young girl. They are no other than Wyatt (18) and Prue (14). Wyatt stops and looks at Prue.

TEEN WYATT

I got your birthday present.

Teen Prue smiles.

TEEN PRUE

You're gonna give me what I asked for?

Wyatt smiles.

TEEN WYATT

About that I had a better idea.

Both exchange accomplished glances. Wyatt smiles and takes something from his pocket: a small jewelry box. He looks at it and then hands it to Prue. Prue takes it. She smiles at Wyatt. Prue opens the box and smiles.

TEEN WYATT (CONT'D)

I got the stone myself in Africa.

CLOSE UP: RUBY RING INSIDE THE BOX.

Prue takes the ring off the box.

TEEN PRUE

It's beautiful.

Wyatt smiles.

TEEN PRUE (CONT'D)

You didn't steal it, did you?

Wyatt shoots Prue a look.

TEEN WYATT

No, I found it and had the ring done.

Prue smiles and puts the ring on her finger. Then she looks at Wyatt.

TEEN PRUE

I love it, but this was not what I asked for.

Wyatt's smile disappears from his face.

TEEN WYATT

Prue ---

TEEN PRUE

C'mon, Wyatt. I just want to go with you. I promise I'll do what you say.

TEEN WYATT

I won't take you to a hunting with me.

TEEN PRUE

But I'll behave, I promise.

TEEN WYATT

I said no.

Prue is serious.

TEEN PRUE

I'm a powerful witch, you know?

TEEN WYATT

No, you are just a kid. You barely know how to use your new power.

TEEN PRUE

I'm learning to use Cryokinesis.

TEEN WYATT

It's too soon for you to go hunting.

TEEN PRUE

I'm fourteen. You started going to the Underworld at my age.

TEEN WYATT

And mom would kill me if she finds out.

TEEN PRUE

What makes you think I won't tell her?

Wyatt shoots Prue a 'you won't dare' look. A 17 years old Chris comes in.

TEEN CHRIS

Wyatt, I think I know who's the demon we are looking for.

Wyatt shoots Chris a look.

TEEN CHRIS (CONT'D)

What? I thought we could go after him before your birthday party.

TEEN PRUE

Nice. Can I go too?

TEEN WYATT

I said no, Prue.

Prue is rage red. She looks at Wyatt.

TEEN PRUE

You won't control me forever, you know that?

Both stare at each other.

TEEN PRUE (CONT'D)

Someday, I'll be old enough to get down there and vanquish demons and you won't stop me.

Wyatt takes his hands to his hips. Prue looks at the ring in her right hand.

TEEN PRUE (CONT'D)

(takes off the ring)

You can keep it!

Prue approaches Wyatt and puts the ring on his hand. She runs out the attic fast.

TEEN CHRIS

(to Wyatt)

You can't protect her forever. You know that.

Wyatt shoots Chris a look.

TEEN WYATT

I will until I can.

Both brothers stare at each other.

FLASHES BACK TO:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR - WYATT / PRUE'S BEDROOM - DAY (PRESENT DAY)

Prue stares at the ring.

CHRIS (O.S.)

You still keep it.

Chris stands at the entrance of the bedroom. Prue looks at him. She smiles and puts the ring back into the jewelry box.

PRUE

Remember the day he gave it to me?

Chris comes in. He smiles.

CHRIS

How could I forget it? You were turning 14 and he was turning 18. And you both thought you were the Queen and King of the world.

PRUE

(smiles)

You're wrong. He did think that.

Prue lowers her gaze.

PRUE (CONT'D)

I miss him.

CHRIS

I miss him too.

Both stare at each other. Words are not needed for them to understand each other's pain.

CHRIS (CONT'D)

Let's honor him by finding this Warlock.

Prue nods yes.

EXT. LIBRARY - DAY

INT. LIBRARY - DAY

Tamora is sitting at a desk. She has a couple of books in front of her. She's reading one of them. Turns a page and then another. Tamora looks around, reaches in her bag and looks at something inside.

CLOSE UP: POWER-SUCKING ATHAME.

The athame is inside her bag. She closes the bag. Cassandra comes in and heads at the reception. She exchanges a few words with the librarian who hands her a book. Then Cassandra turns around and realizes Tamora's presence in there. She finds it weird and walks towards Tamora. She approaches Tamora.

CASSANDRA

Tam?

Tamora looks up at her.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

What are you doing here?

TAMORA

Oh, hey, Cass!

Tamora looks around.

TAMORA (CONT'D)

I'm studying.

CASSANDRA

Really? Try again.

Somehow Cassandra knows she's hiding something. Tamora takes a deep breath.

TAMORA

I'm investigating something.

Cassandra looks at the books on the desk.

TAMORA (CONT'D)

Books about magic.

CASSANDRA

Are you crazy?

TAMORA

I went through all the books in Magic School and found nothing.

CASSANDRA

Found nothing about what?

(serious)

Tam, we were counting on you to come with us. We had to ---

(whispers)

--- Vanquish the demon without you.

TAMORA

But you did vanquish him, didn't you?

CASSANDRA

Yeah. Bianca got out with a scratch, but we did.

TAMORA

See, you didn't need me.

Cassandra grimaces.

CASSANDRA

Will you tell me what you are investigating?

Tamora looks around. She signs Cassandra to peek into her bag. Tamora opens the bag and there it is: the athame.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

(astonished)

What the heck is that?

TAMORA

(shoots her a look)

Really?

CASSANDRA

I mean, I know that it's an ---

(whispers)

--- Athame.

(normal voice)

But what are you doing with it?

TAMORA

This belonged to one of the demons we vanquished two weeks ago. The one who didn't burn.

Cassandra sits beside Tamora.

TAMORA (CONT'D)

He said it worked. I'm trying to figure out what kind of athame it is.

CASSANDRA

In a library? I mean in a library?

TAMORA

Like I said, I tried Magic School.

A woman is close by them organizing some books in a bookcase. Cassandra looks at the woman and recognizes her.

CASSANDRA

Is that ---?

Tamora follows Cassandra's eyes. Cassandra puts her things on the desk and stands. She approaches the woman.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

(to the woman)

Mrs. Appleton?

BEAT. Late J.D.'s mother. The woman turns to Cassandra. Mrs. Appleton seems sad. Really sad. She looks at Cassandra.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

(smiles)

What a surprise seeing you here.

MRS. APPLETON

Cassandra? I work here.

CASSANDRA

How are you doing?

MRS. APPLETON

I've seen better days.

The woman lowers her gaze.

MRS. APPLETON (CONT'D)

But now there's only darkness inside.

Cassandra finds weird what the woman just said.

MRS. APPLETON (CONT'D)

(looks to Cassandra)

We all will be fulfilled with darkness.

Mrs. Appleton looks around.

MRS. APPLETON (CONT'D)

It will take us all.

(looks at Cassandra)

I should go home.

The woman seems really bad.

MRS. APPLETON (CONT'D)

I don't feel well.

She feels really sad.

MRS. APPLETON (CONT'D)

I shouldn't be here. It won't matter. Darkness is here.

Cassandra is astonished. Mrs. Appleton walks away while Cassandra watches her. Tamora approaches Cassandra.

TAMORA

Who was it?

CASSANDRA

J.D.'s mother.

TAMORA

Oh!

(pauses)

I guess she hasn't got over it, huh?

CASSANDRA

Dis she say Darkness?

Cassandra looks at Tamora.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

It has taken her.

Tamora looks seriously at Cassandra.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

Darkness has taken her.

Both girls stare seriously at each other.

CUT TO:

INT. KARA AND ANDRA'S APARTMENT - LIVING ROOM - DAY

ANDRA (25) comes in followed by Melinda. Andra seems sad, but holds on.

ANDRA

I was surprised with your call.

MELINDA

I know what happened in the shop?

Andra turns to Melinda.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

I'm so sorry for your lost.

Andra lowers her gaze.

ANDRA

Thanks.

(looks at Melinda)

I remember you from the shop.

MELINDA

Me and my family, we like it there.

ANDRA

Are you a witch?

MELINDA

Just like you and your sister.

ANDRA

She was killed by a robber.

MELINDA

It was a Warlock, Andra.

Andra shoots Melinda a surprised look.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

Yes, I am that kind of witch.

Andra is surprised. She sits on a sofa.

ANDRA

How do you know it was a Warlock?

MELINDA

My brother and cousin were there when it happened.

Andra looks at Melinda. Melinda sits beside Andra.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

They tried to, but they couldn't save her. Somehow the Warlock managed to block their powers.

ANDRA

Yeah, I figured. My sister's power was an offensive one.

MELINDA

Which one?

ANDRA

Telekinesis.

MELINDA

It comes in handy when needed.

ANDRA

Kara was pretty good at it.

(smiles)

I've got a supportive one.

MELINDA

(surprised)

You have?

ANDRA

I can be at two places at the same time. 

MELINDA

Astral Projection?

Andra nods yes.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

One of my powers too. Not that great when you want to fight fire with fire.

ANDRA

You don't like your power?

MELINDA

No, I do. It just that when it comes to fighting demons and warlocks moving things or throwing fire would be better.

Andra takes Melinda's hand.

ANDRA

I used to think that way. Until I realize that powers don't dictate who we are. Actions do.

(pauses)

Look at my sister. She had an offensive one and she's dead.

Melinda smiles at Andra.

MELINDA

Do you know anything about that Warlock who killed her?

ANDRA

No, I wish I knew. But I don't. we have a calm life. We don't go after demons or warlocks.

MELINDA

Well, I do.

(assuring)

I promise you. We'll find that Warlock.

Andra smiles.

ANDRA

Thank you.

Both smile at each other.

CUT TO BLACK.

FADE IN:

EXT. HALLIWELL MANOR - DAY

STOCK.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR - ENTRANCE / FRONT HALL / STAIRCASE - DAY

Melinda comes in from the front door. Damon SHIMMERS in. Melinda gets scared.

MELINDA

Damn, Damon! You scared me!

DAMON

Sorry!

Melinda sees Damon's scratch IN his arm.

MELINDA

Look at you!

She points to its wound. Damon looks at it.

DAMON

Oh, ---

(looks at her)

--- Well, at least the demon was vanquished.

MELINDA

(smiles)

Good.

(pauses)

Let's take care of that!

Melinda walks upstairs. Damon smiles and goes upstairs after her.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR - ATTIC - DAY

Chris is there flipping through the pages of the Book of Shadows. Prue comes in. She's wearing different clothes.

PRUE

So, what's your plan to find this Warlock?

Chris looks at Prue.

CHRIS

I got this before the cops arrived.

Chris takes a necklace out of his jacket pocket.

CLOSE UP: NECKLACE WITH A PINK STONE PENDING ON IT.

PRUE

Does that belong to the Warlock?

CHRIS

This belonged to Kara.

PRUE

What are we gonna do with that?

CHRIS

We'll scry for him.

PRUE

CHRIS (CONT'D)

Her powers transferred to him.

PRUE

Chris nods.

PRUE

So, if he has Kara's powers ---

Chris nods.

CHRIS

We can find him.

Chris smiles. He heads to a drawer on the bookcase and takes a map and a scrying crystal. Chris puts the map on the table and starts scrying holding the scrying crystal and the necklace together.

Teen Chris is SCRYING. Teen Wyatt is next to him.

TEEN WYATT

I thought you said you knew where he was.

TEEN CHRIS

(correcting)

(pauses)

I can't believe this demon is attracting teenagers to the evil side.

TEEN WYATT

TEEN CHRIS

(pauses)

The scrying crystal stops. Chris and Wyatt look at the map.

TEEN WYATT (CONT'D)

Let's go. I know where that is.

Chris nods. Teen Prue comes in. They look at her.

TEEN WYATT

(to Prue)

I'm not taking you.

TEEN PRUE

Who said that I want to go?

Chris and Wyatt exchange glances.

TEEN CHRIS

You two won't start again, will ya?

TEEN WYATT

Don't worry, Chris. I've made my mind. Let's go.

Prue shoots them an innocent look. Chris ORBS out. Wyatt shoots a last look to Prue. They stare at each other for seconds. Then Wyatt starts ORBING out. Prue runs fast towards him and grabs him. Wyatt ends up ORBING out taking Prue.

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR - ATTIC - DAY (PRESENT DAY)

Chris keeps scrying. Prue is watching him. Melinda and Damon come in. Damon's cut is already covered with a plaster.

MELINDA

Hey, what are you guys doing?

CHRIS

Scrying for the Warlock.

MELINDA

Did you get something from him?

CHRIS

No, this is Kara's necklace.

PRUE

Apparently, the Warlock used a Power-Sucking athame.

MELINDA

And you forgot to mention that before because ---?

CHRIS

Because you left.

MELINDA

You should have told me.

Prue and Damon exchange glances.

CHRIS

OK, boss. What did you find with Kara's sister?

MELINDA

(to Chris)

She knows nothing about the Warlock. What are you thinking to do once you find him?

CHRIS

Vanquish him?

MELINDA

CHRIS

Using our powers.

MELINDA

They didn't work before.

Melinda and Chris's voices are getting louder.

DAMON

Your powers didn't work before?

PRUE

No. We don't know why.

MELINDA

(serious)

Don't you think you should find out why before going after him?

PRUE

OK, Mel, slow down.

CHRIS

Yeah, sis. You need to relax.

MELINDA

Melinda lowers her gaze. Prue approaches her.

PRUE

Mel, this is just a Warlock. OK. We'll find him and we'll vanquish him. With a spell, a potion, whatever.

MELINDA

(looks at her)

Always fearless, huh?

(pauses)

We should learn first, attack later.

(pauses)

We already lost a lot.

Prue lowers her gaze.

DAMON

It would be great to know what his powers are.

Prue walks towards Chris.

PRUE

Give me that.

She means the necklace.

CHRIS

PRUE

Just hand it to me.

Chris hands the necklace to Prue. She holds in her right hand. She concentrates and suddenly it seems like she's having a premonition. Moments later she opens her eyes.

PRUE (CONT'D)

He used Telekinesis.

MELINDA

Just that?

CHRIS

But all the damage he did to the shop?

PRUE

I don't know. Kara's power didn't work on him. He did whatever he wanted and she could do nothing.

Prue turns to Melinda.

PRUE (CONT'D)

(to Melinda)

Happy now? Can we try to find him now?

Prue and Melinda stare at each other.

MELINDA

I'll prepare a vanquishing potion.

Prue nods. Melinda heads to the potion shelves. Prue hands the necklace back to Chris. Damon and Chris exchange glances.

CUT TO:

INT. APPLETON'S FAMILY HOME - LIVING ROOM - DAY

A man in his forties, Mr. Appleton, comes in followed by Cassandra.

MR. APPLETON

It's really nice to have you here.

He signs her to sit. Cassandra sits on the sofa.

CASSANDRA

Thanks.

MR. APPLETON

I'm surprised with your visit. Since ---

Cassandra lowers her gaze.

MR. APPLETON (CONT'D)

Well, since it happened, you never came here again.

CASSANDRA

I'm sorry. It just that I was painful.

MR. APPLETON

I know.

CASSANDRA

How is Mrs. Appleton? I saw her earlier today and she seemed ---

Cassandra pauses.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

--- Well, she seemed off.

Mr. Appleton lowers his gaze.

MR. APPLETON

She is not good. She was starting to get better after J.D.'s death.

(looks to Cassandra)

But then, I don't know, she became depressed.

CASSANDRA

MR. APPLETON

At that moment, Mrs. Appleton comes in the living room. She's wearing black. Has big dark circles. She stops, looks at Cassandra. Cassandra looks at her. Then Mrs. Appleton turns around and leaves.

MR. APPLETON (CONT'D)

You can see. She's always talking in darkness. It's a nightmare.

CASSANDRA

(careful)

What do you mean with darkness?

MR. APPLETON

That's all she talking about lately. She says darkness is among us and that it will fulfill our souls and ---

(takes a deep breath)

Cassandra stands and sits beside him. She holds his hands.

CASSANDRA

I'll help her, Mr. Appleton. I'll see what I can do.

Mr. Appleton smiles thankfully.

Charlotte and Eric are there. She's organizing some books on a shelve with Eric's help.

ERIC

Are you sure there's no problem in me being here?

CHARLOTTE

(smiles)

ERIC

Charlotte smiles. Cassandra comes in and sees them.

CASSANDRA

Charlotte!

CASSANDRA

J.D.'s mother is not well.

CHARLOTTE

CASSANDRA

I think darkness has done something to her?

CHARLOTTE

Darkness? Wait, Cass ---

CASSANDRA

She's down and always talking about darkness.

ERIC

Isn't that darkness the thing you're looking for?

CHARLOTTE

(to Cassandra)

CASSANDRA

I've seen her and she is bad. Her aura seems dark.

Charlotte and Eric exchange glances.

I'm telling you, Delgado is suspicious about Prue and Chris' presence there.

PANDORA

He wants to find the killer.

JUNIOR

The problem is that the killer is a Warlock.

PANDORA

They'll find him and vanquish him.

JUNIOR

I know, but ---

Junior cuts himself off as he sees Tamora there reading and holding the athame.

JUNIOR (CONT'D)

(astonished; to Tamora)

What are you doing?

Tamora hasn't realized their presence.

PANDORA

Tam?

Tamora looks at them.

TAMORA

Oh, hi. What are you two doing at home?

JUNIOR

I came to take a shower. I need to be back at the station.

PANDORA

(pauses)

--- Well, hunting left me tired so I called off for the day.

JUNIOR

(to Tamora)

TAMORA

They stare at each other.

DAMON

He's going after Kara's sister.

Charlotte, Cassandra, Tamora and Eric are there. Cassandra walks from a side to another. Tamora is sitting.

Infected with Darkness?

Cassandra stops and looks at Tamora.

CASSANDRA

What other explanation would it be for all this hell that has arisen on Earth?

CHARLOTTE

It makes sense.

ERIC

Charlotte shrugs.

ERIC (CONT'D)

I have actually encountered a few people with a weird behavior.

TAMORA

Darkness is infecting people!

CASSANDRA

We have to help Mrs. Appleton.

TAMORA

We have to help the world, better saying.

CASSANDRA

First Mrs. Appleton.

CHARLOTTE

Cass, we don't know how to fight it.

CASSANDRA

With light, of course.

Charlotte, Tamora and Eric exchange glances.

TAMORA

With light?

CASSANDRA

I killed her son ---

Cassandra's eyes start getting wet.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

I owe this to her.

Charlotte and Tamora exchange glances. Then they look at Cassandra.

CHARLOTTE

Cassandra smiles.

INT. KARA AND ANDRA'S APARTMENT - LIVING ROOM - DAY

Andra is thrown all the way across the room. She hits a bookcase and falls down on the floor. The Warlock Dalton is there. He's holding the athame Gadreel provided him.

DALTON

(smiles wickedly)

Get ready to die, Witch!

Andra tries to stand. Chris ORBS in bringing Melinda. Prue BEAMS in. As Chris sees the Warlock, he WAVES his hand. But nothing happens. Dalton laughs.

DALTON (CONT'D)

It won't work, Witch.

CHRIS

Yeah, I wonder why is that.

Melinda goes help Andra to stand.

DALTON

You, good witches. Your time has come to kneel before Darkness himself.

Prue and Chris exchange glances.

PRUE

That is not happening.

Both Chris and Prue walk towards Dalton.

FLASHES TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - ALLEY - DAY (TWELVE YEARS BEFORE - FLASHBACK)

Teen Prue comes running. She stops as she sees a man standing before her.

DEMON

Who are you?

TEEN PRUE

Your worst nightmare, demon!

The demon smiles.

DEMON

A witch!

The demon starts walking towards her.

TEEN PRUE

Stay away, demon.

DEMON

Or what?

Teen Prue steps back.

DEMON (CONT'D)

Killing witches is my favorite hobby.

Prue seems frozen with fear.

TEEN PRUE

I'm telling you, demon. Stay there.

Prue keeps stepping back. The demon keeps walking towards her. Prue stumbles into something and falls down the ground. The demon laughs. Prue is scared. The demon creates a FIREBALL.

DEMON

Get ready to die, young witch.

He throws the FIREBALL towards Prue, but the FIREBALL FLIES back to him. The FIREBALL hits the demon who combusts. Prue is open-eyed. Wyatt stands next to her. He was the one who threw the fireball towards the demon, using TELEKINESIS. Wyatt approaches Prue and helps her stand.

TEEN PRUE

Thanks.

(sorry)

And I'm sorry. I shouldn't ---

TEEN WYATT

Don't. Next time when I said no ---

TEEN PRUE

I'll do as you say.

Wyatt shoots her a look.

TEEN PRUE (CONT'D)

I will.

(pauses)

Well, at least until I learn how to defend myself.

Both stare at each other for seconds.

TEEN PRUE (CONT'D)

Will you tell mom?

TEEN WYATT

Will you tell mine?

Prue nods no.

TEEN WYATT (CONT'D)

Both smile at each other.

FLASHES BACK TO:

INT. KARA AND ANDRA'S APARTMENT - LIVING ROOM - DAY

Chris and Prue fight with the Warlock. Dalton kicks Chris. Chris falls down the floor, but stands fast. Dalton keeps holding the athame. He turns to Prue. He approaches Prue with the athame. Prue kicks Dalton's hand and the athame ends up falling down the floor. Andra and Melinda look at the athame. Dalton approaches Prue and TIGHTENS his fist. Prue gasps. She grabs her chest and falls to the floor. Melinda approaches the athame and lowers down. She grabs the athame. Prue keeps gasping. Chris knocks the Warlock down hitting him with a chair. Prue breaths in. Melinda walks fast towards the Warlock and stabs him. The Warlock disappears surrounded by fire. They all look at Melinda. The Warlock's power start transferring to her. They all look at Melinda.

CHRIS

Mel?

MELINDA

I can feel all the power.

Chris and Prue exchange glances.

PRUE

Those are not yours, Mel.

MELINDA

But I could keep them. That way I wouldn't need you all the time saving me.

CHRIS

Mel ---

MELINDA

I'm keeping them.

Andra approaches Melinda.

ANDRA

They are not yours.

Melinda turns to Andra.

ANDRA (CONT'D)

They are not part of you. They belonged to witches that were killed by that Warlock.

(pauses)

My sister was one of them.

MELINDA

But ---

ANDRA

You don't need other's powers to be powerful. You just have to be you.

Melinda lowers her gaze. She looks at Prue and then at Chris.

MELINDA

I know. How do we take them off?

Prue and Chris exchange glances.

PRUE

I'm afraid we have to stab you, sweetie.

(to Chris)

I'll do that, you'll heal her.

Chris nods. Melinda hands the athame to Prue. As she holds IT, she looks at it like she's feeling something from it. Then she looks at Melinda.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Sorry.

Prue stabs Melinda fast.

A night view all over the town.

TAMORA

Are you sure you want to do this?

CASSANDRA

Mr. Appleton comes in bringing Mrs. Appleton. The woman looks really bad. It's clear the bad aura that surrounds her.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

Mrs. Appleton, how are you feeling?

Mrs. Appleton looks at Cassandra. His husband helps her sit.

MRS. APPLETON

Get ready. Darkness will take us.

Cassandra and Tamora exchange glances. Then Cassandra approaches Mrs. Appleton and sits beside her. Cassandra holds the woman's hands.

CASSANDRA

Mrs. Appleton, I don't know if you can understand me.

The woman looks at Cassandra.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

You have to come out of that place you're in. Life isn't perfect.

MRS. APPLETON

I lost my son. It was the beginning of the fall.

CASSANDRA

I know. But you have to be strong. You need to fight Darkness.

Tamora and Mr. Appleton look at them.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

Darkness can't be stronger than you. You fight it. J.D. lost the battle, but you still have another son who needs his mother.

MRS. APPLETON

Darkness ---

CASSANDRA

Can be fought. You can fight it. You just have to look into your heart. There must be light in there. Just find it.

Mrs. Appleton lowers her gaze.

CASANDRA (CONT'D)

Think of your son. Your husband. Your family loves you. Don't let Darkness take what's good in you.

(pauses)

Fight it with light. For your son. For your husband. For your family. For yourself.

Mrs. Appleton looks up at her husband. He smiles at her.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

You can do this.

(a tear runs down her face)

Cassandra puts a hand on Mrs. Appleton chest.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

Suddenly a bright light surrounds Mrs. Appleton. The woman gains back her colors and looks fresh. Mr. Appleton and Tamora smile.

TAMORA

(to Cassandra)

You did it.

Cassandra smiles.

MRS. APPLETON

(confused)

What happened?

MR. APPLETON

(approaches her wife)

You just came out of a dark place, honey.

Mrs. Appleton and his husband hug.

Fast motion images.

Lights in the manor are on.

CUT TO:

Chris, Prue, Melinda, Junior, Charlotte, Pandora, Bianca and Damon are there.

JUNIOR

So, yes, no worries. We arrested a suspect of another murderer and it happens that the MO was similar, so Inspector Delgado believes it's the same murderer.

CHRIS

Well, at least we won't have problems with that.

JUNIOR

CHARLOTTE

And the Warlock is really gone?

PRUE

For good. Mel stabbed him with his own athame.

CHRIS

A Power-Sucking athame.

MELINDA

It still doesn't explain why you guys couldn't use your powers before.

PRUE

That would be a matter for another day. I'm tired.

Tamora ORBS in. Cassandra BEAMS in.

CHARLOTTE

So, how did it go?

CASSANDRA

(smiles big)

It worked. Darkness can be fought with light.

Tamora assures them.

TAMORA

It's true.

JUNIOR

(to Cassandra)

CASSANDRA

I just brought her heart to feel light.

(shrugs)

I don't know exactly how I did it. I just did.

CHRIS

That's good. It means that there's a way to fight Darkness.

JUNIOR

I'll try that on the people I've arrested.

PRUE

Yeah, well, something tells me it'll only work when people have light in their hearts. It can't be light when the soul is dark.

They all look to Prue.

PRUE (CONT'D)

It's just my shoot. Now, if you'd excuse me, I've things to do. 

Prue turns to leave. Melinda is about to say something, but Chris signs her not to. Prue leaves.

CASSANDRA

Is she OK?

CHRIS

Maybe someday.

They all exchange glances.

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR - KITCHEN - NIGHT

Melinda comes in followed by Damon.

MELINDA

I think everybody needs tea.

Melinda takes a kettle out of a cabinet.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

How's your arm?

DAMON

Healing thanks to your cares.

MELINDA

I did nothing special.

DAMON

You took care of me.

Melinda puts some water into the kettle and puts it on the stove.

DAMON (CONT'D)

Thank you.

MELINDA

You already thanked me.

DAMON

I won't stop thanking you.

Damon stares at her with an 'in-love' look.

MELINDA

Damon ---

DAMON

I know. Sorry.

Melinda shoots him a thankful look.

DAMON (CONT'D)

MELINDA

DAMON

You did well to not keep those powers.

Melinda lowers her gaze.

MELINDA

I must confess that I wanted to. Sometimes I feel like I'm useless.

DAMON

You're not.

MELINDA

Damon puts a hand over her right hand.

You're more than that. You're a Destined One. A Charmed One.

MELINDA

DAMON

Both share a moment. Melinda takes her hand back and looks at the water in the kettle.

She takes the kettle off the stove. Damon stares at her.

The others are still gathered there. Chris, Bianca and Junior are on a corner. Cassandra and Charlotte are next to them. Pandora brings Tamora to another corner.

PANDORA

TAMORA

No, I haven't.

(assures her)

Both sisters stare at each other seriously.

Police cars are parked outside.

Teen Wyatt ORBS in bringing Teen Prue. The girl looks around.

TEEN PRUE

Why here?

TEEN WYATT

You said you wanted a private spot.

TEEN PRUE

I never imagined you could bring me here.

TEEN WYATT

Are you sure you want to do this?

TEEN PRUE

I want to know how it is, Wyatt. And I want it to be with someone I trust. And you said that you would do it so don´t step back.

TEEN WYATT

OK, OK. Let´s do this, then.

Both teenagers get really nervous. Teen Wyatt approaches Prue slowly. Teen Wyatt approaches his face to Teen Prue´s face and kisses her.

Teen Prue and Teen Wyatt get apart. Both look at one another. They seem surprised.

TEEN PRUE

That was...

TEEN WYATT

... Good.

Teen Prue nods yes. Then, she steps back from Wyatt.

TEEN PRUE

No one can never now, ever. Promise me, Wyatt. You won´t tell anybody. Promise me.

TEEN WYATT

OK, OK. I promise.

Both look at each other. Then, Teen Wyatt takes something from his pocket. He reaches his hand towards Teen Prue.

CLOSE UP: RUBY RING.

She smiles.

TEEN PRUE

Have I told you that it's beautiful?

TEEN WYATT

I think you mentioned it.

Prue smiles. She takes the ring and puts it on her ring finger of her right hand.

TEEN PRUE

Thank you again for not telling mom what I did.

TEEN WYATT

(smiles)

No problem. But don't forget what you promised me.

TEEN PRUE

You can't protect me forever, Wyatt.

TEEN WYATT

I'll die trying.

Teen Prue smiles.

TEEN WYATT (CONT'D)

I love you.

TEEN PRUE

I love you too, cous.

TEEN WYATT

Let's get back to our birthday party.

Prue smiles. He takes her hand and ORBS out.

FLASHES BACK TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - TOP OF THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE - NIGHT

A tear runs down Prue's face. She takes a deep breath. She looks at his right hand and there it is the ruby ring.

CLOSE UP: RUBY RING ON PRUE'S FINGER.

PRUE

I miss you, love. So, so much.

She swallows and turns around. As she turns around she feels the familiar sensation of a premonition.

FLASHES TO:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR - CONSERVATORY ROOM - DAY (PREMONITION)

Prue is in the manor looking at a man sitting on the ground of the conservatory room playing with three little girls. Prue walks towards him and touches his hair.

PRUE

You´re the best father in the world, did you know that?

The man looks to Prue.

PRUE (CONT'D)

And the best husband too.

Prue smiles and looks at the girls.

PRUE (CONT'D)

I love you all.

Prue smiles.

Premonition ends.

FLASHES BACK TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - TOP OF THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE - NIGHT

Prue gets back from the premonition. She's astonished.

PRUE

What was that?!

She looks around trying to understand what she just saw.

CUT TO:

INT. UNDERWORLD - GADREEL'S CAVE - NIGHT

Gadreel is sitting on his chair. Ignatius stands there.

GADREEL

Did he hurt her?

IGNATIUS

No, he didn't. She's fine.

Gadreel stands.

IGNATIUS (CONT'D)

You won't summon he back from the dead only to vanquish him again, will you?

GADREEL

No. I have other things to think about.

Gadreel turns to Ignatius.

GADREEL (CONT'D)

One of the people I infected with Darkness changed back.

IGNATIUS

(surprised)

What?

GADREEL

Somehow they figured out that light is the solution.

IGNATIUS

Should we be worried, Your Royal Darkness?

GADREEL

No. For that to happen people need to have light before darkness. Not everybody has.

(pauses)

Now, leave.

Ignatius bows and turns to leave. Once he is out, Gadreel approaches the secret entrance to the other room.

CUT TO:

INT. UNDERWORLD - GADREEL'S HIDING ROOM - NIGHT

Gadreel comes in. The cell is not hiding. Gadreel looks inside.

CLOSE UP: A TRAY ON THE FLOOR. THE DISHES ARE EMPTY.

Gadreel smiles.

GADREEL

I can see you are already eating. Good.

Wyatt, who was in the dark, steps into the light where his face can be seen. He is unshaven. The same clothes he was wearing a couple of weeks before.

WYATT

(daring)

If you want me dead, why feeding me?

Gadreel turns around and smiles.

GADREEL

I don't want you dead. If I wanted you dead, you would be already dead.

WYATT

Then why keeping me here? Why making them believe I'm dead?

Gadreel approaches the bars.

GADREEL

(wickedly)

Because I want you to watch me taking from you the thing we both love the most.

Gadreel smiles evilly. Wyatt stares seriously at him.

And we ---

CUT TO BLACK.
