FADE IN:

INT. CAVERN – NIGHT (MANY, MANY CENTURIES BEFORE)

The cavern seems a cold place for someone to stay in, but the truth is that it is actually someone’s place.

A man wearing a long gray cloak comes into the cavern. The hood covers his head. The sound of his voice sounds cold as the cavern itself.

BLACK WIZARD

Come in, child.

ON FEMALE BARE FEET. A dirty red cape creeps on the cavern’s floor. Slowly, the image goes up to reveal a woman with her face covered by the cape’s hood. Slowly, she takes off the hood to reveal her face.

RUBY. Her face is dirty. Her skin is pale as if the sun had never touched it. And her lips are as red as blood.

She looks around. It can be noticed, by the look on her face, that she is scared. She glares at the man with the dark cloak from behind. He seems to be preparing some kind of drink.

The Black Wizard is by a table full of ingredients on top of it. He mixes some of the ingredients into a cup, while a fearful Ruby stares at him.

RUBY

(fearful)

Who ---

Her voice trembles.

RUBY (CONT'D)

Who are you?

He laughs. Still, his face can’t be seen.

RUBY (CONT'D)

Why did you take me out the tower?

BLACK WIZARD

Would you prefer to spend more three centuries there?

RUBY

Three centuries?

Ruby seems affected by that information. Like she had no idea of for how long she was in that towers as a prisoner.

RUBY (CONT'D)

That long?

The Black Wizard turns around. He takes off the HOOD. BEAT. That’s no other than Jannes. Ruby stares at him.

RUBY (CONT'D)

Who are you? How did you find me?

JANNES

So many questions, my dear.

Jannes takes the cup with the mixer he just prepared. He walks over her.

JANNES (CONT'D)

We’ll have time to answer them all.

He hands her the cup.

JANNES (CONT'D)

Drink this. It’ll make you feel better.

Ruby looks at the cup. Then she looks at Jannes again. Jannes gives her a ‘do it’ look. Ruby takes the cup and slowly starts drinking the liquid as Jannes looks at her.

JANNES (CONT'D)

I am a friend, my dear.

Ruby drinks the entire liquid. Jannes smiles.

FLASHES TO:

EXT. HALLIWELL’S – NIGHT (PRESENT DAY)

ON THE SCREEN CAN BE READ:

SIX WEEKS LATER

From the outside, it can be seen that the restaurant is full of people.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLIWELL’S – DINING ROOM – NIGHT

Indeed. The restaurant is full. Christopher and Melinda, as well as other employees, can be seen serving the customers.

On one of the table, a couple with a teenage girl is having dinner.

BEAT. They are not other than Ruby, Julian Prescott and IVANNA PRESCOTT (12), Julian’s daughter.

Julian seems tired. He has big black lines under his eyes and he has grown white hair. Now, Ruby looks spectacular in her little red dress. Ivanna is a girl with blue sad eyes.

RUBY

(smiles big)

I’m so happy for the three of us finally being here celebrating.

Ivanna rolls her spaghetti with the fork and doesn’t look at Ruby. Julian forces a smile. Ruby looks at Ivanna.

RUBY (CONT'D)

Oh, c’mon, my dear ---

Ruby touches Ivanna’s hand.

RUBY (CONT'D)

I know I’m not your mother, but I already love you like you were my daughter.

Ivanna rises her eyes and shoots Ruby a killing glare. Ruby stares at her seriously, then she smirks. Melinda approaches their table holding a bottle of red wine.

MELINDA

Excuse me.

Ruby looks at Melinda and smiles.

RUBY

(smiles big)

Yes?

MELINDA

Here’s the wine you ordered. The last bottle I must confess.

RUBY

Oh, perfect.

Ruby signs Melinda to serve the wine, first Julian’s glass and then Ruby’s.

MELINDA

It is the most expensive bottle we have. When I say expensive, I really mean it.

Ruby keeps smiling.

RUBY

Oh, we don’t look at money today.

MELINDA

Or ever.

Ruby smiles.

RUBY

True. But today above all days.

Ruby touches Julian’s hand.

RUBY (CONT'D)

We wed a week ago and hadn’t had the chance to celebrate it.

MELINDA

Oh, congratulations.

RUBY

Thanks.

At that moment, Ivanna stands and gets out the room quickly. Ruby stares seriously at Ivanna while she runs out of the restaurant. Ruby disguises. She forces a smile.

RUBY (CONT'D)

My husband’s daughter. She ---

(looks at Melinda)

--- She is a little unhappy with this union.

MELINDA

Oh, teenagers.

RUBY

I must talk to her.

MELINDA

Sure.

Ruby stands and walks out of the restaurant after Ivanna. Melinda looks at Julian.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

I’m sure your daughter will come to accept your new wife, Mr. Prescott.

Melinda is about to turn around when Julian ---

JULIAN

Help!

Melinda turns to Julian. His both hands are over the table. He seems like he’s struggling for help, but something stops him.

MELINDA

Mr. Prescott?

Julian looks at Melinda. Fear can be seen in his eyes, but then he looks away.

JULIAN

Thank you.

Melinda shoots him a confused look. Julian seems weird. Not like a happy man that just got wed would look like. Melinda turns around and leaves.

CUT TO:

EXT. HALLIWELL’S – PARKING LOT - NIGHT

Outside the restaurant, Ruby looks around for Ivanna.

RUBY

Ivanna? Your stupid girl, come here right now.

Now Ruby seems everything, but friendly. A man approaches her from behind. Ruby turns around and ---

DISGUISED JORDAN is there.

RUBY (CONT'D)

Have you seen my stepdaughter?

JORDAN

She ran away.

RUBY

You didn’t stop her.

JORDAN

Why do you care, Ruby? Why keeping this act? It’s been almost three months since you approached him the first time.

RUBY

I cannot rush my plans.

Jordan WAVES a hand in front of his face and turns into his REAL FACE.

JORDAN

You can use your powers to make everyone believe whatever you want.

RUBY

Not everyone.

Ruby walks over Jordan and touches his face softly.

RUBY (CONT'D)

My dear, Jordan. Things have to be done properly. I’m not just someone looking after controlling the whole world. My plans are not that basic.

JORDAN

But ---

RUBY

I just got married.

(smiles)

And yes, I’ll become a widow soon. Now that I have everything that belonged to Julian, he can die.

JORDAN

You mean ---

RUBY

I mean, that this whole act was just that. An act.

(smiles)

Julian Prescott dies tonight and I’ll be his widow tomorrow.

(pauses; smiles)

Oh, and his heiress.

Ruby kisses Jordan in the mouth softly.

RUBY (CONT'D)

It is all part of the plan, my dear.

(smiles big)

I have waited seven centuries for my revenge. What is it a little more?

She gets serious.

RUBY (CONT'D)

Now find me that girl. She’s gonna need me the most.

Jordan WAVES his right hand in front of his face again taking the face of his disguised self. Jordan walks away.

ON RUBY. She smirks maliciously.

Footage all over the town at the sound of ‘Hymn For The Weekend’ by Coldplay. Many places all over the town are shown as the music plays.

CUT TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO MEMORIAL HOSPITAL – DAY

Ambulances parked outside the hospital.

CUT TO:

INT. SAN FRANCISCO MEMORIAL HOSPITAL – ULTRASOUND SCAN ROOM – DAY

MUSIC FADES OFF.

ON MONITOR. A baby of the size of an avocado can be seen in the monitor.

Blanche is scanning a 16 weeks pregnant Prue’s belly. Prue’s belly is very notorious now. Wyatt is standing beside his wife. Both smile as they look at the monitor. Blanche smiles.

PRUE

It’s so big already.

BLANCHE

Yes, it’s growing by the week.

Blanche hands Prue some tissues for her to clean her belly.

BLANCHE (CONT'D)

I’m not able to tell you yet if it is a boy or a girl.

PRUE

Oh, it’s a girl.

Blanche stares at Prue. She is surprised at Prue’s certainty.

BLANCHE

Is that a mother’s sense?

Prue and Wyatt exchange glances.

WYATT

You can say that.

Blanche smiles. ON WYATT’S HAND HOLDING PRUE’S. Blanche looks at the way Wyatt and Prue hold hands.

BLANCHE

You are such a cute couple. Have you picked a name in case it really is a girl?

PRUE

Christina.

Blanche smiles.

BLANCHE

Beautiful name.

WYATT

Yeah, and it doesn’t start with a ‘P’.

BLANCHE

(smiles)

Is the father a ‘P’ fan?

WYATT

Kinda.

PRUE

We are not giving her a ‘P’ name. Period.

Blanche stares at them and they realize her look on them.

WYATT

Every girl in our family has a ‘P’ name and Prue, which also starts with a ‘P’ and happens to be very proud of it, doesn’t want to give our daughter a ‘P’ name.

BLANCHE

Oh ---

(pauses)

--- In case it is a girl you mean?

Wyatt nods.

BLANCHE (CONT'D)

I’m sure whatever name you chose, it’ll fit the baby.

PRUE

Her.

Blanche nods.

BLANCHE

Sure.

(stands)

I’ll give you two a moment. I’ll be right back.

Blanche heads out the room. Prue cleans her belly and sits on the bed.

PRUE

Honey, we already talk about the baby’s name.

WYATT

I know. But I really believe she should have a ‘P’ in her name. She’s gonna be a Charmed One after all. She should take it after her mummy.

PRUE

I’m not giving her that name, Wyatt. Period.

They stare at one another for seconds. Then Wyatt gives in.

WYATT

Fine. Let’s not talk about it for now.

He takes something from his pants’ pocket.

WYATT (CONT'D)

I’ve got something for her.

Prue’s eyes wide. Wyatt holds a small box.

PRUE

A jewel already.

Wyatt smiles.

PRUE (CONT'D)

This girl is going to be so spoiled by her daddy.

WYATT

You know I love both my girls.

Wyatt opens the box. Prue smiles.

PRUE

A ruby?

ON A GOLDEN CHAIN WITH A SMALL RUBY HANGING ON IT. Prue takes the CHAIN.

WYATT

I found that ruby in the same place I found yours those many years ago.

PRUE

I still have that ring.

WYATT

I know.

Prue touches Wyatt’s face softly.

PRUE

It’s beautiful. I’m sure she’ll love it and she’ll keep it forever.

Wyatt smiles. He approaches his lips to hers and kisses her softly.

WYATT

I love you.

PRUE

I love you more.

WYATT

I love you even more.

They both keep kissing. The door opens and Bianca comes in followed by Chris. Her belly is big. Bianca is 20 weeks pregnant now.

BIANCA

Hey, you two leave. My turn now.

They look at Bianca. Bianca grimaces.

BIANCA (CONT'D)

I can’t wait to know my baby’s gender.

PRUE

Oh, is it today?

Bianca nods.

WYATT

But Chris believes it is a boy.

At that moment, Blanche comes in.

BLANCHE

Apparently, everybody in this family has psychic powers.

They stare at Blanche.

CHRIS

It runs in our blood, Doc.

They all smile.

CUT TO:

EXT. PRESCOTT GROUP – DAY

The big glass building is shown.

CUT TO:

INT. PRESCOTT GROUP – CEO’S OFFICE – DAY

Julian’s personal assistant, Annabel, enters the office and as she does, she sees something that really scares her. She screams loudly and runs out the office.

ON THE FLOOR IS A BODY. A DEAD BODY. Julian Prescott is lying on the floor. DEAD.

CUT TO:

INT. PRESCOTT GROUP – CEO’S OFFICE – DAY (TIMELAPSE)

The coroner is already there examining Julian’s body. Henry and Junior are there. Some cops are also there taking some items to test. One of the things they take is a glass that’s next to Julian’s body.

HENRY

How is the assistant?

JUNIOR

She hasn’t stopped crying.

HENRY

And that’s how an important man ends.

At that moment, Ivanna enters the room and stops, looking at her father on the floor.

IVANNA

Dad!

She runs towards Julian’s body, but Junior holds her wrapping his arms around her.

JUNIOR

Hey, hey. Calm down.

Junior tries to calm Ivanna down. Ruby enters the office and stares at Julian’s body. She starts crying. Or at least she pretends to be crying.

RUBY

My poor Julian.

HENRY

(to Junior)

Take the girl out of here.

Ruby walks into the office. Junior takes Ivanna out of there. The girl keeps crying hard. Henry approaches Ruby.

HENRY (CONT'D)

Mrs. Prescott ---

RUBY

It’s LaFontaine.

Ruby looks at Henry.

RUBY (CONT'D)

I never took my dear husband’s name.

HENRY

Mrs. LaFontaine, I’m so sorry for your lost.

RUBY

It was so small the time we spent together.

Ruby takes a tissue from her purse and wipes her tears.

RUBY (CONT'D)

I can’t believe he is gone. He has left me.

Henry touches Ruby’s shoulder.

HENRY

I understand this is a bad moment, but we need to talk.

RUBY

Why? What happened? How did he ---

Ruby glances at Julian’s body. The coroner puts a white sheet over his body.

HENRY

We have to investigate. When was the last time you saw your husband?

Ruby closes her eyes.

RUBY

Yesterday night. He took me and Ivanna home after dinner and came here. He said he had some matters to take care of.

Ruby looks seriously at Henry.

RUBY (CONT'D)

Inspector, how did my husband die?

Henry takes a deep breath.

HENRY

The coroner suspects of a heart attack, but he needs to examine him.

Ruby nods.

RUBY

I should better start preparing his funeral.

Henry nods. Ruby approaches Julian’s body. She lowers down and uncovers his face.

RUBY (CONT'D)

My dear husband.

Ruby smirks malicious. No one notices it.

CUT TO:

INT. CAVERN – NIGHT (MANY, MANY CENTURIES BEFORE)

ON FEMALE HANDS. Ruby WAVES her right hand as if she is trying to use powers. She gets mad when she does not succeed.

She is wearing a cleaned red cape and has washed her face.

Near her, is Jannes. He stares at her as she damns her own luck.

JANNES

Patience. Be patient.

Ruby turns to him.

RUBY

I used to create balls of fire with my own hands. Move things.

(remembers)

Move things.

(mad)

I cursed things. People.

Jannes smiles.

JANNES

I know.

RUBY

She took it all from me. She made me powerless.

JANNES

Those powers are still with you, child.

RUBY

Then why don’t they work?

JANNES

The confrontation between you and your equal was hard. She won.

RUBY

Don’t remind me of that.

JANNES

It is the truth. She defeated you and locked you away on that tower.

Jannes walks over her.

JANNES (CONT'D)

She hid it with magic. The whole place.

RUBY

So, no one could find me.

Jannes nods. They look straight to one another.

RUBY (CONT'D)

But you did.

Jannes smiles.

RUBY (CONT'D)

How?

JANNES

I’m a powerful Wizard, my dear.

(pauses)

One of the first. I see magic where no one does.

RUBY

Can you give me back my powers?

JANNES

(smiles)

I can do better. I can teach you all I know. With patience.

RUBY

I want revenge.

JANNES

Revenge is a dark path, child.

RUBY

But ---

JANNES

Don’t look for revenge, when power is all that matters.

Jannes smiles and turns around.

JANNES (CONT'D)

I need an apprentice. 

He turns around.

JANNES (CONT'D)

I can teach you all I know.

He turns around and walks away. ON RUBY. She is serious.

CUT TO:

EXT. HALLIWELL / COOP MANOR – DAY (PRESENT DAY)

INT. HALLIWELL / COOP MANOR – LIVING ROOM – DAY


Charlotte and Eric come in. Charlotte seems to be in a rush. She approaches her bag which is on the sofa and starts looking for something.

CHARLOTTE

I have some paperwork at Magic School, honey.

ERIC

But, babe, we haven’t even celebrated your birthday.

Charlotte turns to Eric.

CHARLOTTE

We had dinner.

ERIC

With the entire family. I mean the two of us.

Charlotte gets back to her bag.

ERIC (CONT'D)

We need some time alone.

CHARLOTTE

I know.

Charlotte finds what she’s looking for. She takes her cell phone from the bag. Then, turns to Eric.

CHARLOTTE (CONT'D)

Babe, I know. But we both have been working a lot. You know I have the finals at Magic School. And you’ve been taking some extra shifts with that Dr. Dubois.

ERIC

Oh, no. Don’t come with that jealousy.

CHARLOTTE

I’ not being jealous!

ERIC

Yes, you are. You have no right to be jealous, because you know I’ve taken those shifts because you were too busy working. And I didn’t want to stay at home alone.

Charlotte looks at her cell phone.

CHARLOTTE

Alex is waiting for me at Magic School.

ERIC

Honey, I took these days off so we could be together.

CHARLOTTE

I know, but I can’t. Just a couple more days and the school year is over.

Eric takes his hands to his hips. He is mad. Charlotte approaches him.

CHARLOTTE (CONT'D)

Just a couple more days, I promise. Then we do whatever you decide.

Eric looks at her. She blinks sweetly at him. Eric smiles.

ERIC

A couple more days.

CHARLOTTE

I promise.

Charlotte kisses him. At that moment, Cassandra comes in.

CASSANDRA

You won’t believe what happened.

They look at Cassandra. She seems astonished.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

My boss is dead.

They exchange glances.

FADE IN:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR – ATTIC – DAY

Jo is flipping the Book of Shadows looking for something. But nothing. She closes the book mad.

JO

Dammit!

Melinda comes in.

MELINDA

The book did nothing to you.

Jo looks at her.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

You look desperate.

JO

It’s been almost three months since I came here and nothing.

Melinda lowers her gaze.

JO (CONT'D)

I can’t find anything. I don’t even know what I’m looking for.

MELINDA

Maybe if you’d talk to us, we would be able to help you. But you don’t tell us what is that evil that rules your present.

JO

Because I know that ---

Words come hardly from her mouth.

JO (CONT'D)

--- They didn’t start it.

MELINDA

They?

Jo lowers her gaze.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

So, it’s a group of people that have taken over the world.

JO

Mel ---

MELINDA

Jo ---

Melinda approaches Jo and holds her by the shoulders.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

I really would like you to trust me. To trust my family. We can help.

JO

But I don’t even know what I’m looking for.

Melinda lets go of Jo.

MELINDA

How did you know you had to come here?

JO

I didn’t. The spell brought me here.

MELINDA

Did you cast the spell?

Jo nods yes.

JO

My cousin gave me that spell. For years, me and my ---

(pauses)

--- My family tried everything. Including spells. But none worked until my cousin gave me the one that took me here.

MELINDA

You always talk about your family. You never talk about the Halliwells. So, ---

JO

Don’t, Mel. I’m not a Halliwell.

MELINDA

Right.

(pauses)

Let’s pretend I believe you.

Jo rolls her eyes.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

We, Halliwells, do nothing to help?

Jo rolls her eyes.

JO

You failed.

ON MELINDA. She is serious.

JO (CONT'D)

This evil is greatest than anything. Some of you have ---

Jo is unable to continue.

MELINDA

Have what?

Jo and Melinda stare at one another.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

Die in the process?

Jo lowers her gaze. Her attitude confirms Melinda’s guess.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

Isn’t that why you are here?

Jo looks at Melinda.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

To change it.

JO

I don’t know if I can.

A tear runs down Jo’s face.

JO (CONT'D)

I’ve lost a lot in this war.

MELINDA

Your mother?

Jo looks at Melinda. Another tear runs down her face.

JO

My family.

Melinda is about to say something, but Jo cuts her off.

JO (CONT'D)

I need to stop this.

Jo wipes away her tears.

JO (CONT'D)

I have to find whoever starts this.

MELINDA

Let me help you.

Melinda holds Jo’s hands.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

I don’t know if I’m part of your life in the future, but now, Auntie Mel is here for you.

JO

You aren’t ---

MELINDA

Yes, of course. Come here.

Melinda pulls Jo into a tight hug. Jo accepts her hug.

CUT TO:

EXT. PRESCOTT GROUP – DAY

STOCK.

CUT TO:

INT. PRESCOTT GROUP – CEO’S OFFICE – DAY

Ruby comes in followed by Disguised Jordan. The office has been released.

RUBY

I thought they would never leave.

Jordan closes the door behind him.

JORDAN

They will find out how he died, you know.

RUBY

Of course, I do. I wouldn’t expect it any other way.

JORDAN

What if they suspect of you? After what happened to me ---

RUBY

They will suspect of me, I’m sure. But they won’t find anything.

JORDAN

You could have used your powers to kill him, Ruby.

RUBY

That wouldn’t be a good plan, dear.

Ruby sits at the CEO’s chair. She smiles.

RUBY (CONT'D)

This is all mine at last.

Jordan gets mad.

JORDAN

Hrrr, Ruby. What are we going to do if they find us?

RUBY

Oh, Jordan you are starting to piss me off. I have a plan, remember? Of course, I know I’m going to be a suspect of murder. That, I can handle.

JORDAN

Oh, I know. And you’re going to persuade them to not believe you did it?

Ruby smiles.

RUBY

I’ll do better, honey. I’ll point in another direction.

Ruby smiles. At that moment, Annabel comes in.

ANNABEL

Sorry, Mrs. LaFontaine.

Ruby and Disguised Jordan look at Annabel.

ANNABEL (CONT'D)

Detective Mitchell is here.

RUBY

Let him in.

Annabel nods. Ruby and Jordan look at one another. Ruby smiles.

CUT TO:

INT. PRESCOTT GROUP – CASSANDRA’S OFFICE – DAY

ON CASSANDRA. She is astonished.

CASSANDRA

He was killed?

In front of her is Junior.

JUNIOR

Yeah.

CASSANDRA

How?

JUNIOR

Poisoned. We found his wife’s prints on the glass.

CASSANDRA

(surprised)

What?

Junior nods.

JUNIOR

Dad has gone to take her under custody.

CASSANDRA

I am so shocked.

They both head out the office.

CUT TO:

INT. PRESCOTT GROUP – RECEPTION HALL – DAY

Lots of people are gathered there. Cassandra and Junior come. The elevator door OPENS and ---

Henry comes out of it with a couple of cops. With them, Ruby comes as well. She has put sunglasses on. Another elevator door opens and Jordan and Annabel come out of it.

ANNABEL

Mrs. Lafontaine, do you want me to call the lawyers?

Ruby turns to Annabel and Jordan.

RUBY

Please, dear, do so. This is a misunderstanding.

Ruby shoots disguised Jordan a look. He nods.

HENRY

Mrs. LaFontaine ---

Ruby looks at Henry and nods. Henry takes Ruby out of the building.

JUNIOR

(to Cassandra)

See you later, cous.

PRUE

Cassandra is there with Junior. She paces the room back and forward as she glares at her wristwatch. Both wear black clothes.

JUNIOR

Cass, can you please stop? You’re driving me crazy.

CASSANDRA

You don’t understand. Annabel has just arrived in the building. If she’s a demon, this would be the right time to get to her.

JUNIOR

I know. Believe me.

Junior seems worried.

JUNIOR (CONT'D)

What worries me know it’s the cameras all over the place.

CASSANDRA

Oh, about that ---

She stops and looks at him.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

I kinda put a virus into the security computers.

Junior eyes wide.

JUNIOR

Wow, you’re entering the crime world.

Cassandra is about to say something, but Wyatt ORBS in bringing Prue and Chris ORBS in.

CASSANDRA

Finally, guys.

(looks at Prue)

Prue? What are you doing here?

PRUE

I’m pregnant, not sick.

Prue, Wyatt, and Chris are wearing black clothes.

WYATT

(to Cassandra)

I’ve got your text. So, the demon is here.

CHRIS

We don’t know if she’s a demon.

WYATT

Says the man who thought that Julian Prescott was a demon.

CASSANDRA

Well, he isn’t and now he is dead. And yes, Annabel is here. I saw her before. She seemed nervous.

WYATT

Where is she now?

CASSANDRA

I saw her going to last floor.

JUNIOR

There’s something I still don’t understand.

They look at Junior.

JUNIOR (CONT'D)

Why poisoning?

CHRIS

Let’s find her and try to find out.

They all agree. All of them leave the room.

ACT FIVE

FADE IN:

INT. PRESCOTT GROUP – DIRECTION’S ROOM – NIGHT

Only a few lights are on. Annabel is sitting at her desk. She seems nervous.

SOUND: SOMETHING FALLING ON THE FLOOR.

Annabel stands.

ANNABEL

Hello?

No answers. She sits again. She drinks from a glass that’s next to her and grimaces. She swallows.

ANNABEL (CONT'D)

Mrs. Lafontaine, is that you?

No answers. Then, she feels it. A presence behind her. She closes her eyes nervous. He puts a hand on her shoulder.

Annabel screams. She stands as fast as she can and ---

BEAT. Jordan himself is there.

JORDAN

Hi, Annabel!

ANNABEL

(nervous)

Jor ---

(stutters)

--- Jordan.

Jordan smiles.

ANNABEL (CONT'D)

What are you doing here? I haven’t seen you in months.

JORDAN

I had unfinished business, my dear.

He starts walking towards her as she steps back.

ANNABEL

Did you ---

She is really nervous. Jordan is freaking her out.

ANNABEL (CONT'D)

Did you do it?

JORDAN

Did I do what?

ANNABEL

Mr. Prescott?

Jordan smirks.

RUBY (O.S.)

That was me, honey.

Annabel turns around. BEAT. Ruby stands there looking at her.

ANNABEL

Mrs. LaFontaine?

Ruby smiles. She walks towards her.

RUBY

I did. I killed your dear boss.

Annabel is freaking out.

ANNABEL

But why?

Ruby smiles big.

RUBY

Because he didn’t give me what I wanted willingly. 

Annabel steps back until she reaches Jordan. Now she is between both Jordan and Ruby.

ANNABEL

What are you going to do with me?

RUBY

I need you to do something for me?

ANNABEL

What ---

(stutters)

--- What is it?

Ruby reaches a hand towards Annabel’s neck.

RUBY

Just give me your hand, dear.

Ruby takes Annabel’s left hand and WAVES her own over hers. Ruby looks at Jordan.

RUBY (CONT'D)

A fireball, please.

Annabel looks astonished as Jordan stands in front of her and WAVES his own hand creating a FIREBALL. Ruby smiles. Slowly, Jordan puts the FIREBALL on Annabel’s hand. The girl screams.

RUBY (CONT'D)

(to Annabel)

Does it hurt?

Tears come down Annabel’s face.

RUBY (CONT'D)

Poor thing.

Ruby takes off her hand from Annabel’s neck and WAVES her hand in front of Annabel. A RED GLOW surrounds the girl and disappears.

ANNABEL

I can’t move.

Ruby smirks and turns to Jordan.

RUBY

Now, you change.

Ruby WAVES her hands and ---

JORDAN GLAMOURS INTO SOMEONE ELSE. We cannot see who. Ruby smiles.

RUBY (CONT'D)

You’ve taught me a lot. A shame I have to blame you for my acts.

BEAT. ON JORDAN’S FACE. He has GLAMOURED into Jannes, wearing an elegant suit.

CUT TO:

INT. PRESCOTT GROUP – CORRIDOR – NIGHT

Prue, Wyatt, Chris, Cassandra, and Junior come walking.

CASSANDRA

That’s the direction room. She must be there.

They walk towards it.

CUT TO:

INT. PRESCOTT GROUP – DIRECTION ROOM – NIGHT

Annabel stands still holding the FIREBALL. Jordan, disguised as Jannes, stands in front of her, holding an ENERGY BALL. At that moment, the door opens as Wyatt, Chris, Prue, Cassandra, and Junior comes in.

Jordan looks at them. Wyatt freezes as he sees what he believes is Jannes.

WYATT

You.

Then, Jordan turns to Annabel and ---

BEAT. He THROWS the ENERGY BALL against Annabel.

ANNABEL

Noooo!

The woman screams loudly. Soon, only her ashes are what’s left of her.

Jannes stares at them. Wyatt WAVES his hand and THROWS Jordan against some desks.

WYATT

That’s the Wizard.

PRUE

What?

Jordan stands and looks at them. Jordan creates some ENERGY BALLS towards them. Prue uses TELEKINESIS to deviate one of them. One of the ENERGY BALLS actually hits Cassandra in her shoulder.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Cass ---

Prue approaches Cassandra who’s bleeding. Jordan throws another ENERGY BALL towards Prue. Wyatt sees it.

WYATT

Watch out!

Prue turns around and as the ball approaches her it STOPS in front of her. Close to her face. Wyatt WAVES his hands and throws that ENERGY BALL back towards Jordan, but he hides behind a desk and SHIMMERS out. Chris and Junior run toward the desk and when they get there, no one is there. Wyatt approaches Prue.

WYATT (CONT'D)

Are you okay?

Prue nods yes.

PRUE

Yes.

They turn to Cassandra.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Cass ---

CASSANDRA

I’ll be fine. It was just a scratch.

Chris and Junior approach them.

CHRIS

He is gone.

WYATT

That was the Wizard.

CHRIS

Are you sure?

Wyatt nods.

JUNIOR

Why would that Wizard want to kill Julian Prescott?

PRUE

I don’t know, but right now, healing is needed here, please.

Wyatt approaches Cassandra and puts his hands over her wound. They GLOW.

CUT TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO – NIGHT TO DAY

The moon hides in the sky as the sun shines.

CUT TO:

INT. MELISSA’S APARTMENT – ENTRANCE HALL – DAY

The doorbell rings. Melissa, wearing pajamas, walks towards the door and opens it. Junior is there. Melissa smiles.

JUNIOR

I say yes to that breakfast.

MELISSA

(smiles)

I hope you like pancakes.

JUNIOR

With syrup?

Melissa nods yes.

JUNIOR (CONT'D)

I hope you like a good story?

MELISSA

I’m all ears.

Melissa signs him to come in. He does. Both smile.

EXT. HALLIWELL / COOP MANOR – DAY

INT. HALLIWELL / COOP MANOR – BASEMENT – DAY

In a corner of the basement, Jo has set in her own space. A bed is near the wall as well as a night table. A small trunk is next to it.

She is finishing getting ready. She is putting some boots on. At that moment, the door opens. Jo looks upstairs and sees Prue coming downstairs. Jo is surprised to see her there.

PRUE

Morning!

JO

Morning!

Prue looks at the place where Jo has been sleeping.

PRUE

So, this is your bedroom!

Jo shrugs. Prue signs her to sit. Prue goes and sits on the trunk.

PRUE (CONT'D)

You know, I do know I have been a bitch.

They stare at each other.

PRUE (CONT'D)

But you see, what I don’t know, scares me. And not knowing a thing about you does scare me.

JO

I didn’t come here to hurt you and your family, Prue.

PRUE

Still, I don’t know that.

Jo lowers her gaze.

PRUE (CONT'D)

But I want to believe you.

Jo looks at Prue. Prue stands.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Pack your stuff. There’s a room upstairs that is empty.

Jo is astonished.

PRUE (CONT'D)

I used to sleep there.

Jo stands.

JO

(surprised)

You are allowing me to stay in your bedroom?!

PRUE

I have a new one now. I believe a day is enough for you to do the changes. Because tomorrow we start looking for whatever it is we must stop in order to make your future a good one.

JO

Thank you.

PRUE

I’m not doing this for you, Jo. I’m doing this for her.

Prue touches her belly. Jo nods. Prue turns around and heads upstairs. A small smile appears on Jo’s face.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR – ENTRANCE HALL – DAY

Prue comes in as Melinda comes from the living room. Melinda stands in the doorway, arms crossed. Prue closes the door behind her and stares at Melinda.

PRUE

I didn’t apologize if that’s what you want to know.

MELINDA

Didn’t say anything.

PRUE

But I’m gonna help her, okay?

Melinda smiles.

MELINDA

Good.

Wyatt comes downstairs.

PRUE

Hey, babe! Breakfast together?

WYATT

No, actually, honey, I’m sorry, I ---

Wyatt kisses Prue cheek.

WYATT (CONT'D)

--- I have to work.

PRUE

But, honey ---

WYATT

See you later.

Wyatt walks out quickly.

MELINDA

He’s been weird. Comes late in the night, leaves early in the morning.

Prue looks at Melinda.

PRUE

MELINDA

I can take breakfast with you.

PRUE

Melinda puts an arm over Prue’s shoulder.

PRUE

Both laugh and head into the dining room.

INT. MAGIC SCHOOL – SECRET LIBRARY – DAY

Wyatt comes in quickly closing the big door behind him. He looks at the enormous bookcases. He takes a deep breath.

WYATT

I need to find that Wizard and vanquish him.

He walks in between the bookcases.

CUT TO:

INT. CHRIS AND BIANCA’S CONDO – BEDROOM – DAY

Chris and Bianca are in bed. Chris has an arm over Bianca’s shoulder. They are kissing. Chris pulls apart.

CHRIS

A boy!

Bianca smiles.

BIANCA

How did you know?

Chris touches Bianca’s face softly.

CHRIS

Remember a couple of years ago when we asked the Shadows help?

Bianca nods yes.

CHRIS (CONT'D)

Raina told me that the next generation of Charmed Ones would come from Wyatt and Prue.

Bianca’s eyes wide.

BIANCA

Oh ---

CHRIS

That’s why I knew our kid was a boy.

BIANCA

What if somehow destiny changes its mind?

CHRIS

Babe, it’s Wyatt and Prue. That baby is the product of a strong power. Besides, I went to the future and I saw only girls.

BIANCA

I want to have a girl someday.

CHRIS

Who said I want to stop at one?

They both smile. Chris kisses Bianca passionately and pulls the sheets covering them both.

EXT. PRESCOTT GROUP – DAY

STOCK.

INT. PRESCOTT GROUP – CEO’S OFFICE – DAY

Ruby is sitting at the desk. Henry is in front of her. They are both talking. Ruby has a shocked expression on her face.

RUBY

Annabel?

Henry nods. Ruby pretends to be surprised.

RUBY (CONT'D)

She killed my husband?!

HENRY

Yes, Mrs. LaFontaine. We’re trying to find her.

RUBY

Thank you, Captain Mitchell, isn’t it?

Henry nods. He stands and extends his hands to shake Ruby’s. Both shake hands.
At that moment, disguised Jordan comes in with Ivanna.

RUBY (CONT'D)

My poor child.

Ruby walks fast towards her and hugs her.

HENRY

We’ll be in touch, Mrs. LaFontaine.

Ruby smirks at Henry. He walks his way out the office. Ruby looks at Jordan. Then she turns to Ivanna.

RUBY

Your little demon.

Ivanna has tearful eyes.

RUBY (CONT'D)

You only have me now.

JORDAN

What are you going to do with her?

Ruby touches Ivanna’s face softly.

RUBY

For now, she’ll keep drinking the potion I gave to her father. Maybe I want to take care of the poor child.

(looks at Ivanna)

My mother indeed loved the wrong daughter. So, I’m going to love you like a mum.

Ruby smiles at Ivanna. Then she turns to Jordan. Both smile.

CUT TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO – DAY TO NIGHT

The sun sets as the moon appears in the sky.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLIWELL / COOP MANOR – PRUE’S OLD BEDROOM – NIGHT

Jo comes in wearing pajamas. She sits on the bed and opens the night table drawer. She takes something from the inside.

ON: A GOLDEN CHAIN WITH A RUBY PENDANT.

Jo holds the chain. She has a look at the ruby stone.

FLASHES TO:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR – BEDROOM – NIGHT (ELEVEN YEARS LATER)

Two beds are in that bedroom. Lights are off. A woman approaches Matt’s bed and pulls the sheets up. The boy wakes up and looks at the woman.

MATT

Aunt Prue?

BEAT. That’s Prue. She is wearing a black jumpsuit. Prue looks at him and smiles.

PRUE

Hey, kiddo.

MATT

Is there something wrong?

PRUE

No, nothing wrong.

Prue sits on the bed.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Remember that I promised I would make sure you had nice dreams?

Matt nods his head.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Well, that’s why I’m here.

Matt smiles.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Now, go back to sleep.

The boy closes his eyes and turns around. Prue stands and walks towards the other bed. She looks at the girl with long blond hair. Prue takes something from her jumpsuit pocket.

ON: GOLDEN CHAIN WITH RUBY PENDANT.

Prue looks at it and puts it on the night table. Then, she sits on the girl’s bed and touches her hair softly.

PRUE (CONT'D)

My dear child.

Then Prue WAVES her hand over the girl’s body. It glows PINK.

PRUE (CONT'D)

That’s to keep you safe, my dear. No visions from you.

Prue kisses her top of the head and stands.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Mummy loves you so much.

Prue stands and heads to the exit when ---

CHRIS

Prue?

Chris comes in. Prue’s expression hardens.

CHRIS (CONT'D)

What are you doing here?

PRUE

I had to see her, Chris.

Chris glares at the children.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Take care of her.

Prue walks towards the exit and stops in front of Chris ---

PRUE (CONT'D)

Please, tell her that I love her.

Both stare at one another. Then Prue lowers her gaze and walks out. Chris sighs. He looks at the children. Then he looks at the chain in the night table.

ON: CHAIN.

CHRIS

Prue!

He is serious.

FLASHES BACK TO:

INT. HALLIWELL / COOP MANOR – PRUE’S OLD BEDROOM – NIGHT

Jo keeps staring at the chain. Charlotte comes in with some blankets.

CHARLOTTE

Hey!

Jo looks at her.

CHARLOTTE (CONT'D)

I brought you these. It’s been cold at night and Prue’s bedroom was always the biggest one and therefore the coldest one.

Charlotte puts the blankets on the bed.

JO

Thank you. I guest Prue always got the good stuff.

CHARLOTTE

Like I said the biggest room, but the coldest. What’s good in that?

Charlotte sits on the bed.

CHARLOTTE (CONT'D)

But cold never bothered her anyway.

Both smile. Charlotte looks at the chain.

CHARLOTTE (CONT'D)

What is that?

Jo glares at the chain.

JO

A present from my parents.

CHARLOTTE

Mel told me you lost your mum. How?

Jo glares at Charlotte.

JO

I don’t want to talk about it.

CHARLOTTE

Why?

JO

Because it hurts.

A tear starts running down Jo’s face.

JO (CONT'D)

Because I lost them both.

Jo lowers her gaze.

CHARLOTTE

Oh, dear. Come here.

Charlotte pulls Jo into a tight hug. Tears run down her face.
