Hello, everyone!
With Season 3 half over, things are really starting to fall into place. Pieces of the puzzle are coming together to form a clearer picture of what is happening (or happened). Like any show, I have a million and one theories (most were debunked already) and I figured, why keep them to myself? Why not share them with all of you so you can decide if you agree, disagree, or have something of your own to add to the theories.Without further ado, here are three theories for Season 3 of Destined!
CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR SEASON 3. CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
The Gadreel-Prue-Wyatt Dynamic
This is possibly the biggest head scratcher so far (other than the BOAngels/bloodline stuff) mainly because Gadreel has been locked away for thousands of years, and there is no way he could know Prue. That's when I started thinking very hard, about how a very old Angel could possibly know a Cupid-Witch... But what if he doesn't know this version of Prue? What if Prue had a past life that was connected to Gadreel in some way? We all know Gadreel has an inferiority complex, and if he fell in love with Past-Prue and she broke his heart, that would warrant some revenge. Especially if she left him for his best friend... Wyatt's Past Life! Here are some things that support this theory.- "The blood of the person he loved the most, and the blood of the person he hated the most." Ignatius needed those very specific ingredients to unlock the box Gadreel was trapped in. He states that he didn't have time to find the past lives of those people, so he settled for the blood of the two most powerful witches in the world. But what if it was more than that? What if Ignatius actually found the people that Gadreel loved/hated the most? Wyatt being the best friend that betrayed Gadreel (hate!) and Prue being the one that Gadreel thought he was meant to be with (love!).
- Gadreel specifically targeted Prue and Wyatt on all his attacks. He either wanted Prue to live, or wanted Wyatt to die. I think this was on purpose, to make Prue suffer and come running to him.
- He kidnapped Wyatt. if you read the last episode, then you know Gadreel's speech to Wyatt didn't make a lot of sense, unless he was talking about past lives. For those who don't remember, here's what Gadreel said, "You didn't deserve her. Never did. " Never did? Past tense? Hmm... Let's keep going, "She deserves more. Much more. Oh, my friend, don't worry, she'll have what she deserves. " While I personally can't decide if this was a romantic thing or a murderous thing, I definitely think that it means they knew each other before. How? Not sure. Hopefully, we'll find out soon!
More on the "Prue Past" Life Theory:
As I close on this theory(s), I want to mention that there are probably more examples I'm just failing to think of any more at the moment. If you think of any, please let me know and I'll add the to the list! Also, please remember this is just for fun. Thanks!
This does build off of the last theory, as a lot of the examples are in that theory as well.
- Handreel told Prue that "she was always his favorite". Unless Handreel has been watching Prue for the last 20+ years like a creeper, he knew her before. To add to this he says that, "we knew each other a long time ago - before there was time" or something like that. We know that Gadreel existed before time as well... Too big of a coincidence if you ask me.

Why the Elders placed Sebastian with Tamora:
As already confirmed by Prue, we know that the Elders were instructed by a "higher power" to assign Sebastian to Tam, without asking questions. We also know that Sebastian had the Book of the Angels, and ended up playing a very key in Season 3 A. I'm pretty sure that one of the Higher Angels (maybe Handreel) gave destiny a little help by putting Sebastian with Tamora. I just refuse to think it's a coincidence that these two happened to be put together by the Elders and ended up falling in love. Maybe an ally from above?
There you have it, everyone, my three theories for Season 3! I hope that you enjoyed them What are your theories? Do you support these or no? Let me know below!
