EXT. ANCIENT VILLAGE – DAY (MANY, MANY CENTURIES BEFORE)

This is another village like any other that existed in the ancient times. People are outside their homes. Some of them are working.

A young man (18) comes walking wearing a brown cape and carrying a water bucket. It seems heavy. He carries the bucket with difficulties.

A man walks (MAELOR, 50) into the village. This man looks refined. His clothes have nothing to do with the ones the villagers wear. Some people look at him. He walks towards the young man who has stopped to rest his arms.

MAELOR

Young man!

The young man turns around to face Maelor.

MAELOR (CONT'D)

I’ve been looking for you for a long time and finally, I've found you.

Maelor smiles. The young man understands nothing. He is about to speak, but Maelor interrupts him.

MAELOR (CONT'D)

Jannes, we must speak.

BEAT. The young man is not other than a young Jannes. Jannes is surprised that the man knows his name.

CUT TO:

INT. HOUSE VILLAGE – DAY (MANY, MANY CENTURIES BEFORE)

Young Jannes comes in followed by Maelor. Jannes puts the bucket on the floor by the fireplace.

YOUNG JANNES

I don’t understand. Why are you looking for me? how do you even know me?

Maelor smiles.

MAELOR

You are a special young man, Jannes. Do you know that?

YOUNG JANNES

I don’t know what you are talking about.

MAELOR

Of course, you know.

Maelor glares around.

MAELOR (CONT'D)

You could have the world at your feet.

YOUNG JANNES

I am just a ---

MAELOR

A man with special powers.

YOUNG JANNES

I don’t have special powers.

MAELOR

Oh, haven’t you made extraordinary things then?

Jannes deviates his glare from Maelor.

MAELOR (CONT'D)

By any chance, haven’t you fix things without even touching them?

YOUNG JANNES

Stop.

Maelor smiles.

MAELOR

You are special, Jannes. I was sent to give you the chance to get out of here and work extraordinary things.

YOUNG JANNES

I’m not extraordinary.

MAELOR

Yes, you are. And you will perform greater things. You are going to be a great Wizard.

YOUNG JANNES

(confused)

Wizard?

MAELOR

Yes. That’s what you are.

Maelor approaches Jannes.

MAELOR (CONT'D)

Come with me, son. Come with me and I will teach you to use those powers of yours.

Young Jannes looks at Maelor. He is serious.

CUT TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO – NIGHT (PRESENT DAY)

Footage at the sky and the shining moon.

CUT TO:

INT. MAGIC SCHOOL – SECRET LIBRARY – NIGHT

Sebastian is at a table flipping pages of a book. He seems very into the reading. His eyes wide open. It looks like he found something.

SEBASTIAN

Wyatt!

Wyatt comes from one of the corridors carrying some books.

WYATT

Have you found anything?

SEBASTIAN

Jannes, isn’t it?

Wyatt puts the books on the table.

WYATT

That’s right.

SEBASTIAN

I think I found something.

Sebastian points to the book. Wyatt has a look at it.

SEBASTIAN (CONT'D)

One of the first Wizards.

Wyatt looks at Sebastian.

WYATT

One of the firsts?

Sebastian nods. Wyatt keeps reading.

WYATT (CONT'D)

He was born very powerful.

SEBASTIAN

And since he was a young man he belonged to the first coven of Wizards.

WYATT

The Brotherhood of the Wizards.

Sebastian nods.

WYATT (CONT'D)

There’s not too much here, but it says that some of the members of the Brotherhood followed wrong paths.

SEBASTIAN

Leading to what we know now as Wizards. And according to that, Jannes wasn’t one of the bad guys.

WYATT

He taught young Wizards and Witches to control their powers.

SEBASTIAN

Are you sure is this Wizard we are looking for?

WYATT

It must be.

At that moment, the entrance door of the library opens and ---

BEAT. Charlotte and Alex come in carrying some books. They are laughing but stop as soon as they lie eyes on Wyatt and Sebastian.

CHARLOTTE

What are you guys doing here?

Wyatt and Sebastian turn their eyes to Charlotte and Alex.

CHARLOTTE (CONT'D)

How did you guys get into here?

Wyatt and Sebastian exchange glances. Then they look at Charlotte and Alex. Charlotte looks at the books they are reading. She approaches the table and puts the books on the table.

WYATT

We can explain.

CHARLOTTE

Oh, my!

Charlotte realizes something.

CHARLOTTE (CONT'D)

(to Wyatt)

You’re looking for him, aren’t you?

WYATT

Charlie ---

CHARLOTTE

Does Prue know?

WYATT

You can’t tell her.

CHARLOTTE

Oh, pal, I’m not going to keep that secret of yours. She was the one in charge of finding something along with Jo.

WYATT

(mad)

That hasn’t worked very well, has it?

Both Charlotte and Wyatt stare at each other.

CHARLOTTE

How did you get in here?

SEBASTIAN

We’ve got the Elders authorization.

Charlotte smiles sarcastically.

CHARLOTTE

Oh, so they know too.

Charlotte looks at Alex.

CHARLOTTE (CONT'D)

And now we know too.

ALEX

Well, ---

Alex approaches them and takes a book.

ALEX (CONT'D)

--- That means that we can help as well.

Charlotte rolls her eyes.

ALEX (CONT'D)

(to Wyatt and Sebastian)

What do we know about that Wizard?

Wyatt and Sebastian exchange glances and smile. ON Charlotte. She is clearly against it.

OVER BLACK.

FADE IN:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - FISHERMAN'S WHARF – NIGHT

CAMERA HOLDS ON - A BOAT’S NAME: NICKY BOY.

A man comes from the boat alone. He is a fisherman, (NICK, late 30’s), and wears a heavy coat. He seems tired.

OFF THE WATER - A blue glow appears and it calls Nick’s attention. The man walks towards the edge of the pier and looks at it.

NICK

What the hell?

Nick rubs her eyes and looks at the water. That’s when the undulation gets stronger. It’s like something is come to surface and ---

BEAT. Not something, but someone. TURQUOISE HAIR. A WOMAN.

Nick is astonished, to say the least. The woman looks up at Nick. Her expression is unreadable. Her brown eyes GLOW BLUE.

WOMAN

Please. Help me.

NICK

What are you doing in the water, ma’am?

WOMAN

Please. Help me.

Nick glares around. NO ONE TO BE SEEN. Then, Nick decides to jump into the water to help the woman. He takes out his coat and boots and jumps. He swims to her and gets face to face with her.

NICK

How did you end in here?

The blue hair woman approaches him and starts touching Nick’s face. He is confused.

NICK (CONT'D)

What --- what are you doing?

She approaches him even more and puts both her arms around his neck.

NICK (CONT'D)

Okay, I might get lucky tonight.

The woman smirks mysteriously. There’s something about her. Like she has a secret agenda. Their lips get closer and it seems that they are about to kiss ---

Their lips meet each other and at first, it seems normal, but them ---

Something is not right. Nick is feeling like suffocating. He opens his eyes and tries to get rid of her, but unsuccessfully. She keeps him stuck to her. Nick is getting BLUE. BEAT. It’s like he is drowning, but how is that possible?!

Nick keeps fighting until he stops. She won. Nick’s eyes are wide open, but there’s not live in there. The woman lets go of him and looks at his dead face. She smiles.

WOMAN

No. You won’t get lucky tonight.

Then, the woman THROWS him out of the water and into the pier. Her strength is brutal. Nick’s body lays in there, dead.

CAMERA FOLLOWS – her bare legs as she approaches Nick’s dead body.

ON HER FACE – she looks down at him and smiles.

CUT TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO – DAY

Aerial footage at the town as a new day starts.

CUT TO:

EXT. HALLIWELL AND HALLIWELL – COOP MANOR / – DAY

ON CHARLOTTE as she leaves her house and walks towards the backyards of the Halliwell Manor.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR – KITCHEN – DAY

A 24 weeks pregnant Prue is preparing some coffee. She is also preparing some toasts.

OFF TO CHARLOTTE - she comes in from the back door and spots Prue right away.

CHARLOTTE

Morning, sis!

Prue turns around and sees her sister there.

PRUE

Hey! Morning!

Both stare at each other.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Need something?

CHARLOTTE

Coffee?

PRUE

Don’t you guys have coffee at home?

CHARLOTTE

Oh, I do, but you know ---

Prue shoots her an ‘I know what?!’ glance.

CHARLOTTE (CONT'D)

--- I just wanted to see how my big sister is going. And well I haven’t had a good night sleep so I thought about visiting and grab another cup of coffee.

Prue’s eyebrows rise. Prue turns around and pours some coffee into a cup. Then she walks towards Charlotte and hands her the cup.

PRUE

I’m all right, thank you.

Charlotte takes the cup and both stare again at each other. Then Prue talks.

PRUE (CONT'D)

How are you?

CHARLOTTE

Oh, I’m all right too.

PRUE

Good.

CHARLOTTE

Good.

And again. Both stare at each other without saying a word. Somehow Prue knows something is off with her sister.

PRUE

Split it!

Charlotte disguises.

CHARLOTTE

What?

Charlotte has a sip of coffee. Prue turns around and puts the toast on a plate.

PRUE

You came here to talk to me. That I know.

CHARLOTTE

Damn, Prue!

PRUE

Watch your tongue in this house.

CHARLOTTE

The baby can’t hear me yet.

PRUE

That’s what you think. Now, c’mon. Talk.

Charlotte sits at the counter.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Oh, I know it’s Eric. Is everything okay with him?

CHARLOTTE

It is, but I didn’t come here to talk about Eric.

PRUE

Then, what do you want to talk about?

Prue keeps her glare on Charlotte, pressuring her. Charlotte feels it.

CHARLOTTE

(giving in; lying)

Okay, fine. It’s about Eric.

PRUE

What about him? Are you guys having troubles? Is he the one that kept you awake all night?

Prue shoots her sister a naughty look.

CHARLOTTE

Prue!

PRUE

What?

(smirks)

I know the guy can be pretty intense.

CHARLOTTE

Oh, c’mon, Prue!

Prue is having fun.

PRUE

Just kidding.

Charlotte stares at her.

CHARLOTTE

Well, actually. Do you know that Dr. Dubois?

PRUE

She’s mine and Bianca’s doc.

CHARLOTTE

I know. Is she Eric’s type?

PRUE

Oh right, jealousy.

CHARLOTTE

I’m not ---

PRUE

You are. But please, don’t harm her until the babies are born.

CHARLOTTE

Prue!

PRUE

Fine. She’s not. You should know that. Eric’s into the brunette type. She’s blonde.

Charlotte has a sip of her coffee relieved. OFF MELINDA – coming in. She seems tired as she hasn’t had much sleep in days.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Morning, sunshine! I made you coffee and you got here at the right time otherwise my sister would drink it all.

MELINDA

Thank you. I was in need of coffee.

CHARLOTTE

Is your astral self taking care of your life again?

MELINDA

No.

Melinda pours some coffee into a cup and has a sip of it.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

It’s actually my astral self’s actions that are doing that.

Melinda turns to them.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

I took a decision last night.

Melinda looks at them.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

I’m gonna tell Liam the truth.

PRUE

What truth?

MELINDA

That I slept with my ex.

CHARLOTTE

That truth.

PRUE

But it wasn’t actually you.

MELINDA

It was me, Prue.

Melinda sits at the counter beside Charlotte. She holds the cup between both her hands.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

I messed with these two guys lives. I told one the truth and now it’s time to face the other. I can’t keep avoiding Liam. I’ve done that for the past two weeks and I’ve got that too from Damon.

CHARLOTTE

Is Damon still avoiding you?

Melinda has another sip of coffee and nods yes.

CHARLOTTE (CONT'D)

He has his reasons, you know. I wouldn’t forgive you either.

PRUE

Charlie ---

MELINDA

She’s right. I dumped the guy because I was afraid of starting a family with him.

CHARLOTTE

Because he is a half-demon.

Melinda glances at Charlotte.

CHARLOTTE (CONT'D)

Sorry, Mel, but you were a bitch.

MELINDA

I know. And because of that, he won’t forgive me.

PRUE

He’ll come around.

Melinda smiles sarcastically. Then she looks at Prue.

MELINDA

You could talk to him.

PRUE

Oh, no. I can’t.

MELINDA

But Prue ---

PRUE

Look, I kept your secret and he knows that. He won’t talk to me.

Prue lowers her gaze and then looks at them.

PRUE (CONT'D)

I tried and he didn’t pick his phone.

Melinda’s hope vanishes. Then ---

MELINDA

Wyatt could. I’m gonna wake him up.

PRUE

Mel, no.

Melinda looks at Prue.

PRUE (CONT'D)

He came home late last night, so ---

MELINDA

Again?

Charlotte lowers her gaze.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

Work again?

Prue nods.

CHARLOTTE

Are you sure it’s work, Prue?

Prue stares at her sister.

PRUE

Of course, I am. What kind of question is that?

OFF TO WYATT - coming in and wearing only the down part of his pajamas.

WYATT

Morning, Love.

Wyatt approaches Prue and kisses her softly.

PRUE

Morning. Coffee?

WYATT

I love you.

Prue smiles and then heads towards the coffee machine.

WYATT (CONT'D)

Morning, girls.

Prue pours some coffee into a cup.

CHARLOTTE

So, working a lot, Wyatt?

Wyatt and Charlotte stare at each other. ON PRUE’S FACE –- she has her back on them.

WYATT

Yeah, work is keeping me busy.

ON PRUE – she closes her eyes as she is disappointed. Then turns around and approaches Wyatt. She hands him the cup of coffee. Melinda and Charlotte exchange glances.

PRUE

You know, Love, you could talk to Damon.

Wyatt shoots Prue a ‘really?’ glance.

PRUE (CONT'D)

You are his best friend.

MELINDA

Please, Wy, I just want him to forgive me. He doesn’t have to be my friend again if he doesn’t want to.

(pauses)

I just want him to not hold any resentment against me.

WYATT

A little late for that, don’t you think?

MELINDA

Please.

Wyatt looks at Prue. She shoots him a ‘please’ glance. Then Wyatt looks at Melinda.

WYATT

Fine. Now let me go take a bath and head to work.

Wyatt kisses Prue forehead and turns to leave, but ---

CHARLOTTE

Have a nice day at ---

Wyatt turns to Charlotte.

CHARLOTTE (CONT'D)

--- Work?

Both stare at each other for seconds. Then, Wyatt turns around and leaves.

ON PRUE - she looks seriously at Charlotte.

CUT TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - FISHERMAN'S WHARF – DAY

CAMERA HOLDS ON - FISHERMAN’S WHARF SIGN.

The police and CSI agents are there. The perimeter, where Nick’s body lays, is secured.

ON BOBY COVERED WITH A WHITE SHEET. Next to the body is Junior. He lowers down and uncovers the man’s dead face.

ON NICK’S FACE. It is BLUE. Junior covers him again and stands. A police officer comes closer.

POLICE OFFICER

Inspector Mitchell?

Junior turns to the police officer.

POLICE OFFICER (CONT'D)

There is the man who found him. Jim Carver.

OFF A MAN STANDING NEARBY, JIM CARVER (late 30s). Junior glances at the man.

JUNIOR

Thank you. I’m going to talk to him.

The officer nods. Junior walks towards the man.

JUNIOR (CONT'D)

Mr. Carver?

Jim nods.

JUNIOR (CONT'D)

Do you know the victim?

JIM

We worked together in that boat over there.

Jim points to the boat where Nick came out the night before.

JIM (CONT'D)

We arrived yesterday and I left him because my kid was turning 5 and I had to be with him.

JUNIOR

And he?

JIM

He stayed organizing things for us to leave this morning, but ---

Jim finds it hard to speak. He seems devastated.

JIM (CONT'D)

We were friends.

Junior pats Jim’s shoulder. Jim tries to calm down.

JIM (CONT'D)

When I came this morning, I found him there. I tried to ---

(sobs)

--- It was too late.

(serious)

He looked like he’s drowned, but he was a great swimmer. Damn, he taught me to swim.

JUNIOR

We are investigating all the possibilities, Mr. Carver. Is there anything else you can tell me?

Jim thinks for a little.

JIM

Well, I don’t know if it’s relevant, but when I came in this morning I stopped by Nancy’s café and she mentioned that last night something weird happened. 

JUNIOR

Like what?

JIM

(serious)

She said that when she was leaving she saw a woman. A weird woman walking out.

(looks at Junior)

And she was naked.

Junior is serious.

JIM (CONT'D)

Maybe it’s nothing. There are weird people out there lately.

JUNIOR

If you remember anything else, please ---

Junior takes a business card out of his pocket and hands it to Jim.

JUNIOR (CONT'D)

--- Let me know.

JIM

Sure, inspector.

Junior pats Jim’s shoulder again and shoots him a sympathetic look.

OFF TO MELISSA - She is trying to enter the perimeter, but a police officer is stopping her.

MELISSA

C’mon. I’m friends with cops!

Junior spots Melissa and walks towards her.

MELISSA (CONT'D)

J! My salvation.

Police officer #2 looks at Junior who motions him to let her in. Melissa shoots the officer a victorious glare. And walks towards Junior.

MELISSA (CONT'D)

Thank you.

JUNIOR

What are you doing here?

MELISSA

Is that how you treat your BFF?

Junior smiles.

JUNIOR

Melissa, I’m working.

MELISSA

Me too. So, what happened?

Junior takes a deep breath. She stares at him. She’s won.

JUNIOR

A man was found dead.

MELISSA

That I know. What I don’t know is how he died.

JUNIOR

Coroner suspects that he drowned. But there’s something that doesn't fit.

MELISSA

Like what?

JUNIOR

His boots and jacket were off. And ---

Junior looks at the body. OFF TO NICK’S BODY - Laying on the ground still covered with the white sheet while some officers from the coroner office approach it whit a litter.

ON MELISSA.

MELISSA

And?

Junior turns to Melissa.

JUNIOR

Who brought him out of the water.

MELISSA

Wait? Wasn’t he found inside the water?

Junior nods no.

MELISSA (CONT'D)

That’s weird.

JUNIOR

See? I’ll just wait for the autopsy for more details.

MELISSA

Will you call me when you get more?

JUNIOR

Is that a request?

Melissa smiles.

MELISSA

I’ll pay for dinner tonight.

Junior smiles.

JUNIOR

Then I’ll call you, BFF.

Both smiles and look at each other.

FADE IN:

EXT. PRESCOTT GROUP – DAY

People going in and out of the building. The SUN reflects its rays on the glass.

CUT TO:

INT. PRESCOTT GROUP – CASANDRA’S OFFICE – DAY

CAMERA HOLDS ON –- COMPUTER SCREEN. GOOGLE SEARCH. CASSANDRA’S HAND TYPING SOMETHING. READING:

‘THE RED WITCH’

ON CASSANDRA. She is serious as she waits for the results.

CAMERA HOLDS ON –- COMPUTER SCREEN. GOOGLE SEARCH. READING:

‘NO RESULTS FOR YOUR SEARCH’

Cassandra grimaces. At that moment, someone knocks at the door.

CASSANDRA

Come in!

Cassandra closes her computer screen. The door opens and Ruby comes in holding Ivanna’s hand.

RUBY

Good morning!

They come in.

CASSANDRA

Morning!

RUBY

Ivanna is ready for her section.

Cassandra walks towards them.

CASSANDRA

(to Ivanna)

I was just waiting for you. Make yourself comfortable, dear.

Ivanna nods and heads towards the sofa. Ruby smiles as she sees Ivanna taking a seat.

RUBY

She is getting better.

Ruby looks at Cassandra.

RUBY (CONT'D)

She is more talkative know.

Cassandra smiles.

CASSANDRA

These past few weeks have been an improvement.

RUBY

I can see. She likes you.

CASSANDRA

I’m just doing my job.

Ruby approaches Cassandra and takes her hands.

RUBY

You are doing more than that. You’ve been a friend to her.

Cassandra forces a smile.

RUBY (CONT'D)

And to me.

CASSANDRA

It’s nothing, Mrs. ---

Ruby shoots her a look.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

--- Ruby.

Ruby smiles. Then, she lets go of Cassandra’s hand.

RUBY

I’ll pick her for lunch.

Cassandra nods.

RUBY (CONT'D)

(to Ivanna)

Ivanna, sweetie, see you later.

Ivanna doesn’t turn to say goodbye to Ruby who smiles one last time at Cassandra and leaves the office. Then Cassandra looks at Ivanna and walks towards her. Cassandra seats beside Ivanna.

CASSANDRA

Ready?

Ivanna looks at Cassandra and nods yes.

FLASHES TO:

INT. THE WIZRDS’ COVEN PLACE – DARK ROOM – UNKNOWN TIME OF DAY (MANY, MANY CENTURIES BEFORE)

WIZARDS are there forming a circle. Maelor comes in followed by the youngest version of Jannes.

YOUNG JANNES

What is this place?

MAELOR

Our bothers are gathered here to give you a welcome gift.

YOUNG JANNES

I haven’t said yes yet.

MAELOR

You will.

YOUNG JANNES

How are you so sure of that?

MAELOR

I’ve seen it.

Maelor smiles. Then, he motions Jannes to get in the middle of the circle. Jannes does. Once there, Maelor joins the others and the group of Wizards hold hands as Jannes glares at them all. CONFUSED. Some blue light starts appearing on their hands and rays soon come out of it. The rays join all together in front of Jannes.
The young Wizard is astonished as he looks at the scene that happens in front of him. Something is taking shape before Jannes. Like a staff. SURROUNDED by BLUE light.
Soon, the object can be seen. An ORNAMENTED WAND. With a few AURALITE, the most powerful GEMSTONES, and a clear QUARTZ in one of its edges. The blue light that emanates from it is so bright that Jannes finds it hard to look straight at it.

MAELOR (CONT'D)

Take it!

Jannes hesitates for a couple of seconds but ends up putting his hands on the wand. The light goes through it towards him.

CAMERA HOLDS ON –- the blue light entering Jannes arms and fulfilling all his body. Jannes feels it all over himself.

MAELOR (CONT'D)

There. Feel the power.

The other Wizards start chanting some chant in Latin.

WIZARDS

(chanting)

‘Qui affect protego, mixtisque iubas serpentibus et posteris meis stirpiqu’

A PROTECTION SPELL. The Wizards repeat the words again and again while Jannes is fulfilled with magic. He feels it inside.

ON MAELOR –- he smiles.

CAMERA HOLDS ON –- Jannes’ face. Powerful!

CUT TO:

CAMERA HOLDS ON –- Jannes’ wand. It leans against Jannes’ seat.

Jannes stands there looking at his wand. He is serious. Aisling comes in.

AISLING

More are joining us.

Jannes doesn’t turn to face her.

AISLING (CONT'D)

They want a chance to help you.

Jannes keeps his back on her.

JANNES

I was never that kind of man, you know?

Aisling doesn’t answer.

JANNES (CONT'D)

The kind that works with evil beings.

(turns around)

I became who I became to help in building a better world.

AISLING

I do believe your history is fascinating, but is it relevant now?

JANNES

It always is. The Red Witch is part of it. She made me who I am now. An evil Wizard.

Aisling smirks.

JANNES (CONT'D)

What?

AISLING

It’s just hard to imagine you as a good one.

JANNES

I never said I was good. But I wasn’t evil either.

(turns around)

Not until her betrayal.

In his words, a trace of pain can be sensed.

AISLING

What about the demons and warlocks outside?

Jannes turns around.

JANNES

Tell them all to attack.

ON AISLING. She is serious.

JANNES (CONT'D)

Full power on them. I want her plans to fall apart.

AISLING

(out loud)

ON JANNES. His face is full of rage.

JANNES (CONT'D)

The Destined Ones must die!

ON AISLING. She is serious. Then nods yes and bows. She walks out of the cave.

EXT. HALLIWELL’S – DAY

STOCK.

INT. HALLIWELL’S – DINING ROOM – DAY

The restaurant is empty, only Melinda is sitting at one of the tables in the center of the room. She seems nervous. The front door opens and ---

OFF TO LIAM –- he comes in. Melinda looks at him and stands. He looks around.

LIAM

Mel?

MELINDA

(swallows)

I’m glad you came.

Liam closes the door behind him.

LIAM

Sure, but I didn’t understand. Isn’t Halliwell’s day off?

Liam walks towards her and is about to kiss her, but she deviates her face and Liam ends up kissing her on the cheek.

LIAM (CONT'D)

Okay! What’s going on?

Melinda is serious.

MELINDA

We need to talk.

Melinda motions him to sit across her seat. He does and then she takes a seat as well.

LIAM

Mel, you’ve been avoiding me for the past weeks. What’s going on?

Melinda lowers her gaze.

MELINDA

I don’t know how to say this.

LIAM

Are you going to break up with me?

Melinda raises her gaze.

MELINDA

What? No. I just ---

LIAM

Look, Mel ---

Liam touches Melinda’s hands.

LIAM (CONT'D)

I know you still love him.

ON MELINDA –- she is serious.

MELINDA

I ---

LIAM

But I’m not giving up on you.

Both stare at each other. Melinda feels speechless.

ON LIAM’S HAND HOLDING MELINDA’S HAND. He squeezes her hand.

Melinda lowers her gaze.

LIAM (CONT'D)

Mel ---

Melinda keeps her gaze down.

MELINDA

I slept with Damon.

ON LIAM –- he wasn’t waiting for that. Melinda rises her gaze. A tear runs down her face.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

I don’t have a good excuse for it. It just happened. 

Liam pulls back his hand. He is serious.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

You are right. I still have feelings for him, but I do love you.

LIAM

Love me?

And that LOOK. A look that shows disappointment. And that’s what Liam has written all over his face.

LIAM (CONT'D)

Love me? You screw your ex and you love me?

MELINDA

Liam ---

LIAM

(stands; mad)

NO!

Another tear runs down Melinda’s face.

LIAM (CONT'D)

I could have given you as much time as you needed it, but this ---

Liam turns around.

LIAM (CONT'D)

This is too much for me.

Melinda doesn’t know what to say, but independent of what she may say or not, the harm is done. Liam walks away without looking back and slamming the door hard.

The tears come out quickly. She is not holding back. She covers her face between her hands.

CUT TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO – BUSY STREET – DAY

CAMERA FOLLOWS –- a woman barefoot on the ground.

The owner is the TURQUOISE hair woman. She is wearing some kind of robe. Her eyes are empty. She walks. She seems lost.

Unintentionally, a middle-aged man runs into her.

MAN

Sorry, miss.

She shoots him a look.

MAN (CONT'D)

Miss, are you okay?

The man looks her up and down.

MAN (CONT'D)

Miss?

Without saying anything, the TURQUOISE hair woman jumps into his neck and kisses him. The man tries to resist, but she is stronger. And just like happened before, his face starts turning blue, his eyes open widely as if they want to leave his face. He tries to push her away, but he just can’t.

And it happens. The life leaves his eyes. The woman breaks the kiss and lets him fall on the floor. She smiles at his dead body and then keeps walking.

People start surrounding the man, trying to help him, but it’s too late. They barely notice the woman.

She walks away victoriously.

CUT TO:

EXT. BAY MIRROR – DAY

CAMERA HOLDS ON – BAY MIRROR SIGN.

CUT TO:

INT. BAY MIRROR – MIRROR’S MAGAZINE – REDACTION ROOM – DAY

People are on their desks, working.

DOOR OPENS. Prue comes in. Right away a friendly face approaches her.

MELISSA

Please tell me that you are not here to see me this time!

Prue smiles.

PRUE

Hi to you too, Melissa.

Melissa smiles.

PRUE (CONT'D)

And thank you for the favor you did for me.

MELISSA

You’re welcome. And now that you bring that subject up, may I ask why you want to keep it a secret.

PRUE

I can see Junior passed the message.

MELISSA

He did. But I don’t understand. Why don’t we keep looking?

PRUE

Let’s just leave it like this for now. Is Wyatt in his office?

Melissa nods no.

MELISSA

He texted me before saying he won’t come today.

Prue tries to hide her disappointment.

MELISSA (CONT'D)

I’m in charge actually. Chris had an appointment with Bianca.

Melissa heads towards her desk.

MELISSA (CONT'D)

(turns to Prue)

But how come you though Wyatt was here? Are you guys not communicating?

Prue approaches her.

PRUE

I thought I heard him saying he was coming to work.

MELISSA

Well, he didn’t.

At that moment, Melissa cellphone rings. She takes a look at the caller.

MELISSA (CONT'D)

Your cousin!

Melissa picks up the phone.

MELISSA (CONT'D)

(on the phone)

Hey, BFF! Got me something?

Prue looks around as Melissa talks on the phone. Melissa’s expression gets serious.

MELISSA (CONT'D)

(on the phone)

Another body?

That calls Prue’s attention.

MELISSA (CONT'D)

(on the phone)

In the middle of the street? Just like that?

Melissa looks at Prue. And she has an idea.

MELISSA (CONT'D)

(on the phone)

You know what? I may have a way to find out.

Melissa smiles. Prue understands nothing.

EXT. PRESCOTT GROUP – DAY

STOCK.

INT. PRESCOTT GROUP – CEO’S OFFICE – DAY

The room is all light. And the decoration has changed a lot. The predominant color is --- RED. Ruby is at her desk reading some files. At the same time, the TV is turned on. The door opens and Disguised Jordan comes in.

DISGUISED JORDAN

You are not going to believe the news!

Ruby looks at him. He WAVES a hand in front of his face and turns into Jordan.

JORDAN

My intel has informed me that Jannes is sending every demon, warlock and every evil being, that has joined him, behind the Destined Ones.

That annoys Ruby. She stands mad.

RUBY

(punches the desk)

That can’t be possible.

JORDAN

What do you want me to do?

Ruby looks serious at Jordan.

RUBY

Gather every demon, warlock or evil being, that work for us, to protect them.

JORDAN

Protect them all? Ruby, they hate them.

RUBY

Well, they shouldn’t. It’s thanks to them that someday they will have the life they want.

JORDAN

You don’t need all of them.

RUBY

Someday I won’t, that’s true. But now, I need them alive. All of them.

At that moment, the program on the TV is interrupted by a last minute new. That calls Ruby and Jordan’s attention.

CAMERA HOLDS ON TV –- the reporter is on a busy street.

REPORTER

Right here, something weird happened. A middle-aged man fell down the floor inanimate.

Behind the reporter are some CSI agents and police officers.

REPORTER (CONT'D)

It seems like the man drowned. 

(repeats)

Drowned. Yes, you heard me. He drowned in the middle of the street. No water nearby. Some locals mentioned that they saw him with a turquoise haired woman, but then she disappeared.

ON RUBY –- she is serious.

RUBY

A turquoise-haired woman and a drowned man in the middle of a busy street.

JORDAN

That’s weird even when we know what we know.

Ruby SMILES. She knows something.

RUBY

I once meet a turquoise haired woman. There’s a few out there. And they have this special power.

Jordan is serious.

RUBY (CONT'D)

They can manipulate water. They are known as Water Sprite.

JORDAN

Water Sprite? Aren’t they some kind of elemental spirits.

RUBY

That’s how people know them now because they don’t have the whole information. There are many types out there and they all belong to the same family. The one I met was a LELE.

JORDAN

Lele?

Ruby nods.

RUBY

But they are known by many names: Lele, Samodivas, Vilas... And they are not blondes as it thought. They have blue hair.

(pauses)

This one is a Water Sprite. She works with water.

JORDAN

Aren’t they good?

RUBY

Most of the time, but no when some harm is made to them.

(pauses)

Find her to me.

JORDAN

What?

RUBY

I have a plan for that Water Sprite. If I’m not mistaken, she is broken because of a man. Find her.

Jordan nods yes. He WAVES his hand in front of his face and then turns around to leave. Once Ruby is alone, she sits on her chair and smile.

RUBY (CONT'D)

Oh, Jannes, you’ll regret messing with me.

She keeps the smile on her face.

INT. PRESCOTT GROUP - CASSANDRA’S OFFICE - DAY

Cassandra and Ivanna are sitting around the center table. Cassandra is showing Ivanna’s some pictures.

CAMERA HOLDS ON -- a picture of a boat.

IVANNA

It’s a boat.

CASSANDRA

Right, but what does a boat mean to you?

IVANNA

A mean of transportation? 

Cassandra smiles.

CASSANDRA

Exactly. But a boat can mean something else. It represents a journey, a crossing, adventures ---

IVANNA

Exploration.

CASSANDRA

(smiles)

Good.

Ivanna smiles. Cassandra stares at the girl. Ivanna lowers her gaze. Cassandra puts the pictures aside.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

What if we talk a little bit now?

Ivanna looks at Cassandra.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

I’ve been wondering --- the other day when we worked on the disliking board you added something there.

Ivanna looks aside.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

Who is the Red Witch, Ivanna?

Ivanna doesn’t turn her gaze to Cassandra.

CASSANDRA (CONT'D)

You can trust me.

Cassandra squeezes Ivanna’s hand. Ivanna finally looks at Cassandra.

IVANNA

Every night ---

Ivanna’s voice trembles.

IVANNA (CONT'D)

--- she tells me the story of this girl who behaved badly and her punishment was to be locked away.

Ivanna squeezes Cassandra’s hand. The girl is shaking. Cassandra looks at her.

IVANNA (CONT'D)

But she got her vendetta. And everybody paid. She’s evil, Cassandra. I need to behave or the Red Witch will punish me.

Cassandra is speechless.

CASSANDRA

Honey, who told you that story?

OFF THE DOOR - it opens and Ruby comes in. Cassandra and Ivanna turn to face Ruby.

RUBY

Sorry, Cassandra. I had to come earlier than I wished.

(to Ivanna)

We must go home, sweetie.

Ivanna let’s go of Cassandra’s hand and takes her things quickly. Ivanna runs out of the office. Ruby doesn’t understand her reaction.

RUBY (CONT'D)

(to Cassandra)

What happened?

Cassandra stands and approaches Ruby.

CASSANDRA

She was telling me about the bedtime story.

RUBY

What bedtime story?

CASSANDRA

The Red Witch’s story.

ON RUBY. She is serious. She obviously wasn’t waiting for it, but disguises.

RUBY

(smiles)

Oh, that story. Kids.

CASSANDRA

(serious)

I don’t think it’s a good idea to tell her this kind of stories.

RUBY

Of course.

(smiles)

Thank you.

Ruby smiles one last time before turning around and leaving. Cassandra is serious and worried.

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO MEMORIAL HOSPITAL – DAY

STOCK.

INT. SAN FRANCISCO MEMORIAL HOSPITAL – CAFETERIA – DAY

There are a few people there including hospital staff and visitors.

At one of the tables, are Eric and Blanche having coffee. But they are not alone, Chris and 28 weeks pregnant Bianca are with them. They are talking and laughing.

BLANCHE

Those are normal symptoms. 

CHRIS

Normal symptoms? Dr. Dubois, she made me get out in the middle of the night to get her
cherimoya. I didn’t even know what was that.

BIANCA

Oh, that was because I was watching a documentary about tropical fruits earlier that day.

CHRIS

Yeah, and the worst thing is that I spent like two hours looking for it and when I got home she puked when she smelled the fruit.

Eric and Blanche laugh.

BIANCA

Sorry, honey.

BLANCHE

I am surprised that you actually found it in the middle of the night.

STOP. Eric, Chris and Bianca exchange glances.

CHRIS

Yeah, it wasn’t easy.

OFF CHARLOTTE –- she comes in and spots them right away. She walks towards them.

CHARLOTTE

They look at Charlotte. Eric stands immediately and hurries to kiss her hello.

ERIC

Charlotte smirks. Her eyes lie on Blanche. Eric realizes it.

ERIC (CONT'D)

Blanche stands and reaches out her hand to shake Charlotte’s.

BLANCHE

Charlotte and Blanche shake hands.

CHRIS

What are you up to, cous?

BLANCHE

ERIC

My girlfriend is Prue’s sister.

BLANCHE

Oh, right. You told me.

Charlotte turns to Eric.

CHARLOTTE

Eric nods.

CAMERA HOLDS ON –- the door as it opens. Eric and Charlotte come in.

ERIC

Eric closes the door. Charlotte turns to him.

CHARLOTTE

Wyatt asked me to keep a secret from Prue.

Eric raises his eyebrows.

ERIC

Oh!

CHARLOTTE

Yep. The worst is that he got Alex into it as well.

ERIC

CHARLOTTE

Eric walks towards her and takes her hands.

ERIC

ERIC

Charlotte shoots him a ‘seriously, you are asking me that?’ glance. He catches it.

OFF TO BLUE ORBS APPEARING –- Pandora ORBS in.

PANDORA

Pandora’s voice brings Melinda back to reality.

MELINDA

Hey! What are you doing here?

PANDORA

I wanted to talk to you, but your phone is off so I sensed you here and ---

(motions)

Melinda puts the glass on the counter.

Pandora notices there’s something wrong with Melinda.

Melinda looks at Pandora.

Pandora is surprised.

Pandora hugs her cousin.

They pull apart.

Pandora forces a sympathetic smile.

You know he is different from the other guys I dated. I don’t know, I looked at Wyatt and Prue, Chris and Bianca, Tam and Sebs, you and ---

Melinda lowers her gaze.

PANDORA (CONT'D)

Well, I wanted that. I just didn’t know with whom I wanted it, but I feel different with Ethan.

MELINDA

Pandora smiles big.

Then, you can borrow the restaurant and the cooker.

Pandora smiles and embrace’s Melinda. OFF TO DEMON #1 –- he SHIMMERS in. Melinda pulls apart as she sees the demon.

MELINDA (CONT'D)

We’ve got company.

Pandora turns around and sees the demon.

DEMON #1

Say goodbye to your precious lives, witches!

The demon CREATES A FIREBALL and THROWS it at Pandora. She ORBS out before being hit. Suddenly Melinda glows pink and Melinda ASTRAL PROJECTS herself. Both Melindas look at each other.

The demon creates another FIREBALL and THROWS it against both Melindas, but Astral Melinda extends her hand ---

ASTRAL MELINDA

‘Fireball’

Pandora ORBS back in. Using TELEKINETIC ORBING, Astral Melinda ORBS the FIREBALL back to the demon who goes boom.

Pandora looks at Melinda astonished. Melinda looks at her astral self. Astral Melinda smiles and turns to Melinda.

ASTRAL MELINDA (CONT'D)

You’re welcome.

Astral Melinda glows pink and gets back into Melinda’s body.

PANDORA

Now you two work together?

MELINDA

It’s weird seeing her doing that.

PANDORA

Tell me about it!

Both stare at each other.

CUT TO:

INT. SAN FRANCISCO MEDICAL EXAMINER – CORPSES ROOM – DAY

The room where dead people’s bodies are kept inside big drawers.

The door opens and Junior comes in followed by Prue and Melissa.

PRUE

(shoots Melissa a look)

I can’t believe you brought me here.

MELISSA

The fastest way to find out what happened to those men.

JUNIOR

I still think this is not a good idea. 

PRUE

This is personal gain.

MELISSA

How do you know that?

Junior approaches one of the drawers and opens the door. He looks at them.

JUNIOR

None of you should be here.

MELISSA

But we are, J. So, get that body out of the refrigerator and let’s find out what happened.

Junior grimaces. Then, he pulls the body out of it. The body is covered by a white sheet. Prue feels nauseated.

PRUE

I’m gonna puke.

MELISSA

Hold on. Premonition first.

Prue takes a deep breath and approaches the man’s body.

JUNIOR

Are you prepared?

PRUE

I swear that if I see the man just drawing, I’m going to kill the two of you.

MELISSA

Yeah, well, something tells me that this is not just drawing.

Prue shoots Melissa a look, then turns to Junior. She nods to him. Junior uncovers the dead man’s face. It’s NICK, the fisherman. Prue looks at it and is about to approach her hand to touch him when ---

She is pulled into a premonition.

FLASHES TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - FISHERMAN'S WHARF – NIGHT (PREMONITION)

PRUE STANDS THERE. She looks around. Confused. Then the images start moving fast. She sees Nick entering the water, kissing a turquoise haired woman and being pulled to the pier. She sees the naked woman coming out of the water and walking away and then ---

Prue is pulled back to reality.

FLASHES BACK TO:

INT. SAN FRANCISCO MEDICAL EXAMINER – CORPSES ROOM – DAY

Prue comes back. Melissa and Junior look at her. Prue is confused.

MELISSA

(to Junior)

I thought you said she normally touches the thing and gets the premonition. She didn’t touch him.

JUNIOR

Yeah, normally.

PRUE

Guys, I’m just right here.

JUNIOR

What did you see?

PRUE

A woman with this blue hair.

JUNIOR

The witnesses mentioned a woman with turquoise hair.

PRUE

That might be it.

JUNIOR

How did she ---?

PRUE

Kissing him.

MELISSA

What?

Prue turns around.

PRUE

Melissa is right. This was not just drowning.

Prue approaches the door and before she leaves she turns to them.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Where’s the ladies room?

ON PRUE.

CAMERA FOLLOWS AISLING - as she enters the cave.

Jannes is sitting on his chair holding his wand. He looks at her.

AISLING (CONT'D)

He was vanquished.

JANNES

Keep them going.

AISLING

You know she’ll find out, don’t you?

Jannes is serious. His eyes --- REVENGE. He is anxious for revenge.

JANNES

Let her find out. She can’t kill me.

AISLING

But she can harm you just as you can harm her. I’ve seen it, Jannes.

Jannes stands carrying his wand.

JANNES

No more than she already has.

He gives his back on her as he keeps staring at the wand.

FLASHES TO:

INT. WIZARD’S PLACE - ROOM - UNKNOWN TIME OF THE DAY (MANY, MANY CENTURIES BEFORE)

Young Jannes comes in angry. Maelor comes following him.

MAELOR

Jannes! Wait!

Jannes turns around.

YOUNG JANNES

(furious)

This is not what I signed on for.

MAELOR

Jannes, the Source has been ruling for centuries. We must stop him.

YOUNG JANNES

No!

Jannes breathes fast.

YOUNG JANNES (CONT'D)

You want me to take his place. I won’t.

MAELOR

You were the chosen one.

YOUNG JANNES

MAELOR

You are special, my boy.

Maelor tries to approach Jannes, but he motions him to stop.

MAELOR (CONT'D)

You are the brother we were waiting for, Jannes. I had a vision, my boy, I never stopped until I finally found you.

YOUNG JANNES

I won’t become a puppet of yours.

Maelor laughs sarcastically.

MAELOR

You don’t understand. You won’t be a puppet. You’ll be the Source.

YOUNG JANNES

They stare at each other.

YOUNG JANNES (CONT'D)

Maelor smiles sarcastically.

Young Jannes CONJURES his wand and then HITS the floor with it. Then he uses SPIRALIZATION to disappear.

Prue is flipping through the Book of Shadows. Junior and Melissa are there as well.

MELISSA

So, anything?

Prue nods no. Melissa is getting impatient.

MELISSA (CONT'D)

This is taking too long.

JUNIOR

It might not even be in the BOS.

MELISSA

BOS?

JUNIOR

Book of Shadows.

MELISSA

Oh.

Prue closes the book.

PRUE

You are right. I would know.

MELISSA

What? You know every page in that book?

Prue and Junior shoot Melissa a look. Melissa glares from Prue to Junior.

MELISSA (CONT'D)

Are you kidding, right?

JUNIOR

Prue is kind of a BOSpedia.

PRUE

BOSpedia?

JUNIOR

Just came up with the name.

OFF TAMORA - she enters the attic.

TAMORA

You guys won’t believe what happened to me!

They turn to her. She seems really mad.

JUNIOR

What happened to you?

TAMORA

(furious)

TWO. Two demons attacked me. One at work. Luckily, no one saw it. And the other one when I was arriving here.

They stare at Tamora.

TAMORA (CONT'D)

I vanquished them both.

JUNIOR

Two demons?

Tamora nods.

MELISSA

Any blue haired?

Tamora doesn’t understand.

TAMORA

None.

Melissa is disappointed.

PRUE

What kind of demons?

TAMORA

Regular demons.

They all exchange glances.

CUT TO:

EXT. CHRIS & BIANCA’S CONDO - DAY

STOCK.

INT. CHRIS & BIANCA’S CONDO - ENTRANCE / LIVING ROOM - DAY

Chris and Bianca come in from the front door.

BIANCA

You heard what Dr. Dubois said, Chris. It’s okay for me to work for a few weeks longer.

CHRIS

Yeah, I heard and disagree.

Bianca rolls her eyes. She sits on the couch.

BIANCA

You are so stubborn, Chris. Seriously.

CHRIS

Yeah, I’ve known myself since I was born.

Bianca shoots him a ‘not funny’ glare.

CHRIS (CONT'D)

Do you want me to prepare you something?

BIANCA

(trying to stand)

I can cook my own food, Chris.

Chris goes to help her, but she shoots him a look. Chris steps back. Bianca stands and stops. SOMETHING calls her attention.

BIANCA (CONT'D)

Maybe try to vanquish that.

Bianca points to something behind Chris. He turns around and there it is a demon. DEMON #2 stares at them.

CHRIS

Crap!

Chris and Bianca exchange glances.

CUT TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - DAY TO EVENING

Fast motion footage of the city.

CUT TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE - EVENING

STOCK.

CUT TO:

INT. MAGICAL SCHOOL - SECRET LIBRARY - EVENING

CAMERA FOLLOWS - Alex as he comes carrying a book.

Alex puts the book on a table where Sebastian and Wyatt are.

ALEX

I found this one.

WYATT

Any new information?

ALEX

No, the same as before.

WYATT

(mad)

Damn!

SEBASTIAN

Wyatt, we will find something.

WYATT

Yeah, but when?

Wyatt stands irritated.

WYATT (CONT'D)

The little we found adds nothing new to what we already know.

Sebastian and Alex exchange glances. Wyatt turns to them.

WYATT (CONT'D)

There must be something about how to vanquish him.

SEBASTIAN

Your powers should be enough to do that.

WYATT

They weren’t.

Wyatt seats down. He seems desperate.

WYATT (CONT'D)

This Wizard was powerful. Very powerful.

ALEX

It makes sense. If he is one of the first.

Wyatt looks at them.

WYATT

I must stop him.

SEBASTIAN

We will.

ON DOOR - it opens and Charlotte comes in.

CHARLOTTE

Wyatt?

They turn to her. Wyatt stands.

CHARLOTTE (CONT'D)

I need to talk to you.

They stare at each other. Wyatt is about to say something, but his cell phone rings. Wyatt looks at the screen.

WYATT

It’s Chris.

Wyatt picks up his phone.

WYATT (CONT'D)

(on the phone)

Chris? --- wait, what? --- I’ll be right there.

Wyatt hangs off the phone.

WYATT (CONT'D)

Chris and Bianca were attacked.

ALEX

Are they okay?

They stare at Wyatt.

CUT TO:

EXT. CHRIS & BIANCA’S CONDO - EVENING

STOCK.

CUT TO:

INT. CHRIS & BIANCA’S CONDO - MAIN BEDROOM - EVENING

Bianca is lying on the bed as she looks at the person who’s examining her. Blanche is next to her. She’s auscultating Bianca. Chris stands next to them.

CHRIS

Is she okay?

Bianca looks at Chris. Blanche takes the stethoscope. She looks at Chris.

BLANCHE

Her pulse is accelerated, but she’s okay.

Chris breaths relieved.

CHRIS

Thanks, God.

BLANCHE

What happened anyway?

BIANCA

It was nothing. I just got irritated.

BIANCA’S POV - she sees some blue lights appearing on the living room.

Bianca shoots Chris a look to check the living room. Chris turns around and sees her brother Wyatt ORBING in.

CHRIS

I’ll be right back.

Chris leaves the bedroom closing the door behind him.

CUT TO:

INT. CHRIS & BIANCA’S CONDO - LIVING ROOM - EVENING

Chris comes from the bedroom and approaches Wyatt.

CHRIS

Are you crazy orbing in like that?

WYATT

I didn’t know you had company.

CHRIS

I wanted to make sure Bianca was okay.

WYATT

What happened?

CHRIS

A demon. And then another.

WYATT

What? What did they want?

CHRIS

What do you think?!

Wyatt and Chris stare at each other. Blanche comes from the bedroom.

BLANCHE

Mr. Halliwell?

Blanche sees Wyatt.

BLANCHE (CONT'D)

Oh, I didn’t know you were here already. He --

(looks at Chris)

-- just called you.

WYATT

I was nearby.

CHRIS

Is Bianca really okay?

BLANCHE

She is, but I would recommend her to stay in bed for a few days. Just to make sure.

Chris nods.

CHRIS

I’ll make sure she stays in bed for the rest of the pregnancy.

BLANCHE

I believe there’s no need. She is a strong woman.

(smiles)

I must go now.

Blanche says goodbye to them and walks out of the place. Chris turns to Wyatt.

CHRIS

Book of Shadows?

Wyatt nods yes.

CUT TO:

EXT. PRESCOTT GROUP - NIGHT

STOCK.

CUT TO:

INT. PRESCOTT GROUP - CEO’S OFFICE - NIGHT

Little light is on the office. Ruby walks from one side to another.

OFF THE DOOR - it opens. Jordan comes in followed by the turquoise-haired woman. She is still wearing a robe. Ruby turns to them and smiles as she lays eyes on her.

RUBY

Welcome, Qiesa.

QIESA

How do you know my name?

RUBY

I have powers, my dear.

(to Jordan)

It took you too long.

JORDAN

She wasn’t easy to convince.

Ruby approaches Qiesa.

RUBY

You’ve been killing innocent men.

QIESA

Men are not innocent.

RUBY

So, a man broke your heart?

(smiles)

The same story as one of your sisters. I met this Vila once and well, she murdered all the men of this village. I was impressed.

QIESA

What do you want?

Ruby’s smile fades from her face.

RUBY

There is this man I once loved like a father. But after many years being his pupil, I realized he wasn’t going to let me be more than that, and it hurt me.

Ruby is serious. Qiesa pays attention to what she says.

QIESA

You want me to make him pay?

RUBY

Let’s say that I would do it myself, but unfortunately, he is the only one I can hurt, but not deadly.

QIESA

Where do I find him?

Ruby smiles.

RUBY

First, we need to get you some clothes. You don’t present yourself before Jannes wearing a dirty robe.

Qiesa nods. Ruby smiles wickedly.

FLASHES TO:

INT. DARK WIZARD’S CAVERN – NIGHT (MANY, MANY CENTURIES BEFORE)

ON: BLACK WIZARD’S WAND. It leans against the wood table. It has a beautiful shade of TURQUOISE.

Ruby, wearing a black dress, stares at it. Her pale skin is illuminated by the light of the wand. She approaches the wand and extends her hand towards it.

JANNES (O.S.)

Beautiful, isn’t it?

Ruby jumps scared. Jannes has just walked inside the cavern. He smiles.

JANNES (CONT'D)

Don’t be scared, child. It’s only me.

Jannes comes carrying a bag and puts it on the wood table. Then he takes his wand and has a look at it. Ruby tries to study his expression.

RUBY

I never saw a wand like that before.

Jannes looks at her.

RUBY (CONT'D)

I could use my powers without one. And so, my ---

(pauses)

--- my equal.

Jannes smiles.

JANNES

Wizards and Witches. Equals but different. 

JANNES (CONT'D)

This wand was created for me. A wand is the object through which wizards, and some witches, channel his or her magic.

RUBY

They have powers of their own.

JANNES

They have. But you don’t need a wand to use your powers, child.

RUBY

I don’t have powers.

Jannes leans his wand against the wood table and approaches Ruby.

JANNES

You’ve been learning a lot lately.

RUBY

I am not even a shadow of what I was.

JANNES

You’ll get there. You will. You’ve learned so much.

Jannes hugs Ruby.

JANNES (CONT'D)

Oh, child. You’ll get your magic back. Your powers and more. 

Ruby looks at Jannes.

RUBY

Promise me I will have my powers back.

Jannes smiles.

JANNES

You will.

Jannes touches Ruby cheek softly.

JANNES (CONT'D)

Just be patient and keep learning.

Ruby nods and hugs Jannes. Tears run down her face.

CUT TO BLACK.

END OF ACT FOUR

[Prue Brianna Johnna Halliwell]

ACT FIVE

FADE IN:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR - ATTIC - NIGHT

Prue and Tamora stand in front of something or someone.

OFF PANDORA - she ORBS in bringing Melinda. Melinda and Pandora spot Prue and Tamora straight away.

PANDORA

You guys won’t believe what happened to us.

PRUE

Yeah, well, you may want to have a look on that and you’ll believe what’s happening to us.

Prue points to something behind Pandora and Melinda. The girls turn around and as soon as they do they are THROWN through the air.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Told ya!

OFF TO TWO FEMALE DEMONS. Pandora and Melinda hit the floor. DEMON #3 creates a FIREBALL and THROWS it towards Tamora. She uses TELEKINETIC ORBING to deviate the ball back to its owner.

Melinda and Pandora try to stand. DEMON #4 uses SONIC SCREAM on Prue. The WAVES THROW Prue across the room and when she is about to hit the ground, the coach is placed for her to fall into it.

OFF JO - she had used her power to protect Prue. Prue looks at her.

PRUE (CONT'D)

Just in time.

JO

You’re welcome.

OFF TO TWO MALE DEMONS SHIMMER IN. Tamora uses her MOLECULAR ACCELERATION power to vanquish Demon #3. Demon #5 THROWS an athame at Jo and it’s about to hit her, but she is SURROUNDED by a PURPLE ORB SHIELD. Prue is standing behind her. The athame hits the shield and falls on the ground.

PRUE

You’re welcome.

Prue turns off the PURPLE ORB SHIELD. Prue WAVES her hand and using TELEKINETIC MOLECULAR COMBUSTION she blows up Demon #4 and #5. Pandora rushes to grab the athame on the floor and ORBS out. She ORBS back in behind Demon #6 and stabs him with the athame. The demon goes boom.

TAMORA

(mad)

What the hell is happening?!

OFF TO JUNIOR - he ORBS in.

JUNIOR

I got Melissa safe.

(looks around)

Where are them?

PANDORA

Gone. Vanquished.

PRUE

More will come.

MELINDA

I’ll get the crystals all over the house.

Melinda is about to leave the attic when Wyatt and Chris ORB in. They look around and see the mess.

WYATT

What happened here?

PRUE

Demons. What else?!

WYATT

(to Prue)

Are you okay?

PRUE

Thanks to her.

Prue points to Jo.

PRUE (CONT'D)

The future girl got here just on time.

Wyatt looks at Jo and gives her a thankful look.

PANDORA

Has anybody checked on Charlie and Cass?

CHRIS

Charlie is with Bianca. We were attacked as well.

WYATT

Wait, what’s going on?

MELINDA

Demons have been attacking us.

PANDORA

Yeah, we vanquished a few at Halliwell’s.

TAMORA

And then a few here.

JUNIOR

I wonder if it has something to do with the blue haired woman.

CHRIS

What woman?

PRUE

A Sprite Water!

They all look at Prue.

JUNIOR

A what?

PRUE

I remember that name from one of the books at Magic School. It was about mythological beings.

TAMORA

Do you care to elaborate?

JUNIOR

This woman has been killing men. They seem as if the drowned, and they did, but not in the normal way. And so, Prue had a vision about this woman.

WYATT

How?

PRUE

Because I was looking for you at work and Melissa enlisted me to this.

Wyatt and Prue stare at each other.

WYATT

You were looking for me at work?!

PRUE

We’ll talk about that later.

Wyatt lowers his gaze.

PANDORA

But this ---

Pandora can’t spell the name.

PANDORA (CONT'D)

Huh ---

PRUE

Water Sprite?

PANDORA

That! Why would she be sending demons after us?

JO

She isn’t. Water Sprites are neutral beings. Sometimes they look for revenge when they get hurt. But those demons have nothing to do with her.

Prue looks at Jo.

PRUE

I agree.

MELINDA

Still, I’m going to get the crystal all over the house.

PANDORA

I’ll help you.

Melinda and Pandora walk out the attic. Prue approaches Wyatt.

PRUE

Were you with Damon?

ON WYATT - he is serious.

WYATT

I hadn’t had time for that.

They stare at each other. Then Prue turns to Junior.

PRUE

Let’s go find this Water Sprite.

JUNIOR

I’m going to steal a sample of water from one of the men’s lungs so we can scry for her.

Prue nods. Junior ORBS out. Chris stares at Wyatt. Jo looks from Wyatt to a disappointed Prue.

CUT TO:

INT. PRESCOTT GROUP - CEO’S OFFICE - NIGHT

ON RUBY - she smiles. In front of her, Qiesa stands. Now she is wearing a long black dress.

RUBY

Now you look good.

Jordan stands in a corner.

QIESA

How do I find him?

RUBY

Someone will take you to him.

Ruby motions to Jordan. He walks towards the door and opens it. Demon #7 walks in.

JORDAN

Take her to Jannes.

Demon #7 nods yes. Qiesa looks at Ruby.

RUBY

(to Qiesa)

Thank you.

Demon #7 approaches Qiesa and SHIMMERS out taking her. Once alone, Jordan approaches Ruby.

JORDAN

Why do you really hate Jannes?

RUBY

Oh, I don’t hate him. He hates me.

JORDAN

What did you do to him?

Ruby gives her back on Jordan and walks towards the glass window. She looks through it.

RUBY

He hates me because I use everything he taught me to get my powers back.

JORDAN

That doesn’t seem a good reason for him to hate you.

RUBY

That’s because I did more than get my powers back.

(dramatic pause)

I copied his powers.

ON RUBY - she is serious.

RUBY (CONT'D)

I hid for centuries. Even with all those powers inside of me, I didn’t know how to use them. It was like having legs and don’t know how to walk.

Jordan stares at her and she keeps her glance over the town outside.

RUBY (CONT'D)

Until Darkness walked on Earth and then I felt it. They started working just like that.

(turns to Jordan)

I was willing to join Darkness.

(remembers)

I was going to find him and offer myself to his cause. He was my best shot to get my revenge.

(pauses)

And then I saw him.

(looks at Jordan)

I saw him being defeated by Wyatt and Prue.

JORDAN

You were there?!

Ruby nods.

RUBY

And just like that, I was enlightened and I knew what I was supposed to do to get my revenge against my equal.

ON RUBY - she smiles wickedly.

CUT TO:

INT. UNDERWORLD - BLACK WIZARD’S CAVE - NIGHT

Jannes stands there. The black cloak is gone. He is wearing a dark business suit. Very elegant.

OFF QIESA - she enters the cave.

Jannes is in his back when she comes in, but he knows she’s there.

JANNES

Did she really though a Water Sprite would be enough?!

Jannes turns around and faces Qiesa. He looks at him.

QIESA

You know what I am.

JANNES

I’ve been around for a long time.

QIESA

Then you know what I can do to you.

Qiesa walks towards Jannes. Once she is close enough to him, she tries to approach her lips to his, but ---

Jannes PUTS a hand on her neck and lifts her from the ground. She chokes.

JANNES

I’m afraid she sent you to your end.

He squeezes her neck. Suddenly, Qiesa’s hair starts turning to blonde and his skin turns into a pale shade of white. Her black veins start to being noticed.

And just like that, live leaves her. Jannes lets her fall on the ground. Jannes stands there beside Qiesa pale dead body.

CUT TO:

EXT. HALLIWELL MANOR - NIGHT

STOCK.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR - ATTIC - NIGHT

CAMERA HOLDS ON -- Junior handing Prue a tube with water.

Wyatt, Chris, Melinda, Tamora, Pandora, and Jo are there. As soon as Prue touches the tube, she is taken into a premonition. Everybody watches as she is into it.

OFF TO CASSANDRA - she comes in the attic.

CASSANDRA

Hey, guys!

And Prue comes back from the promotion.

JUNIOR

What did you see?

Prue looks around.

PRUE

I do believe we should not worry about the Water Sprite anymore.

WYATT

Why?

PRUE

She's dead.

Wyatt and Prue stare at each other.

PRUE (CONT'D)

He killed her.

MELINDA

He?

JO

The Wizard.

ON WYATT -- he is serious.

TAMORA

Well, that’s good, right?

CASSANDRA

Can someone explain to me what’s happening?

PANDORA

Were you attacked by demons today?

Cassandra nods no.

CASSANDRA

No. I spent my day at work. I just stopped by because I wanted to ask something to Prue. But, wait, were you attacked?

They all exchange glances.

CUT TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - NIGHT

Aerial footage all over the town.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR - ENTRANCE / MAIN HALL / STAIRCASE - NIGHT

SOUND: DOORBELL.

Melinda comes downstairs and heads towards the door. She opens it and ---

BEAT -- Liam is there. Melinda is surprised.

MELINDA

Liam!

LIAM

I’ve been thinking and I may regret my decision in the future, but I love you.

They stare at each other.

LIAM (CONT'D)

 Let’s start from zero. No secrets between us.

Melinda smiles.

MELINDA

I’d like that.

Liam smiles. They embrace.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR - WYATT & PRUE’S BEDROOM - NIGHT

Prue comes in and turns on the light. Cassandra comes following. Prue turns to Cassandra.

PRUE

What was that you wanted to ask me?

CASSANDRA

You know I’m helping Ivanna Prescott?

PRUE

The daughter of your late boss?

Cassandra nods.

CASSANDRA

She told me about a story her stepmother tells her every night, but I never heard it before.

PRUE

What story?

CASSANDRA

About a woman who calls herself the Red Witch.

Prue thinks for seconds.

PRUE

It doesn’t ring a bell to me.

Cassandra is disappointed.

CASSANDRA

I hoped you knew something about it.

PRUE

Look, Cass, maybe that's just the kind of story we come up with to make kids go to sleep.

CASSANDRA

Yeah, you are probably right.

Prue smiles. Still, Cassandra is serious.

CUT TO:

EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - TOP OF THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE - NIGHT

Wyatt is there thinking. Behind him, Charlotte BEAMS in.

CHARLOTTE

I knew I would find you here.

Wyatt glances at Charlotte over his shoulder.

WYATT

Are you here to lecture me?

CHARLOTTE

You are a big man, Wyatt. A father-to-be. I don’t need to lecture you. I actually agreed not to step in your and Prue’s business, but I can’t help it. She’s my sister. 

(pauses)

I just want you to think if you really want to keep this from Prue.

Wyatt says nothing.

CHARLOTTE (CONT'D)

Just think about it.

Charlotte BEAMS out. Wyatt closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. He knows she is right.

CUT TO:

EXT. PRESCOTT MANOR - NIGHT

The whole big manor is dark.

CUT TO:

INT. PRESCOTT MANOR - IVANNA’S BEDROOM - NIGHT

Lights are off. The girl is lying on her bed awake. Ruby comes in the bedroom and walks immediately towards the bed. She stands beside the bed.

RUBY

(furious)

I’m warning you, Ivanna. Don’t make mummy get mad or you’ll know what the Red Witch is capable of.

Ivanna says nothing and stays quiet. Ruby takes a deep breath and turns around to leave.

ON IVANNA - she is frightened.

CUT TO:

INT. PRESCOTT MANOR - LIBRARY - NIGHT

This library is big. Some lamps lights are on. The BIG HEAVY DOOR OPENS. Ruby comes in and closes the door TELEKINETICALLY.

She walks into the room and stops. She can feel his presence. Ruby smiles.

FLASHES TO:

INT. DARK WIZARD’S CAVERN – NIGHT (MANY, MANY CENTURIES BEFORE)

CAMERA HOLDS ON - Jannes’ wand.

Ruby stands in front of it staring at it.

RUBY

(to herself)

A wand made especially for him.

OFF TO JANNES. He walks in and stops as he sees Ruby so close to his wand.

JANNES

Ruby?

She glances at him over her shoulder.

JANNES (CONT'D)

Step back.

RUBY

What happens if I touch it.

JANNES

You cannot. Wands are only supposed to carry one’s signature.

RUBY

Why are you so special?

Jannes walks towards her slowly.

JANNES

I was chosen for a mission that I refused.

Ruby turns to the wand.

RUBY

I could accomplish my revenge with the wand.

JANNES

Ruby --- step back.

RUBY

I wouldn’t do any harm. I just need its power.

Ruby approaches a hand to the wand and ---

SHE TOUCHES THE WAND.

JANNES

(out loud)

NO!!!!

A blue light comes from the wand as she holds it. Jannes rushes to her and tries to take the wand from her. Both touching the wand at the same time, both surrounded by a blue bright light. And then ---

A BLUE WAVE COMES FROM THE WAND -- they both are thrown against opposite directions and both fall unconscious on the ground.

FLASHES BACK TO:

INT. PRESCOTT MANOR - LIBRARY - NIGHT

ON RUBY - she keeps the smile on her face.

JANNES (O.S.)

You really thought a Water Sprite would do me any harm?

Ruby doesn’t turn around.

RUBY

No, but it would push you to face me.

OFF TO JANNES - he stands there behind her. Slowly Ruby turns around, never leaving the smile on her face. And then ---

They ARE FACE TO FACE.

RUBY (CONT'D)

And so, we meet at last!

ON JANNES AND RUBY.

FADES TO BLACK.
