I'm not going to bother quoting that mess that is above because I just don't want to. BTS drama includes:
1. Them casting a WHITE WOMAN to play POC role.
2. Them casting a known ableist who then caused a whole mess of drama himself.
3. One of the main actresses publicly being ageist and rude to fans who were asking questions (not including the fans who were rude first) and mocking the original.
4. Constance Burge had to SUE THEM FOR CREATIVITY.
5. Madeline blatantly saying that she didn't/doesn't want to work with Darius because of his ego and ableism, but the writers have forced her to work with him in the second half of the season despite her requests.
There is more I just don't have the time or effort to type them all out. Do your research.
And if you hate/dislike the original show so much, then fine. Don't respond and don't engage. Holly is not crybaby when she has every reason to be upset about the reboot. Especially considering the fact that she was a PRODUCER of the show from the very beginning, and helped get it to further seasons. Charmed has always belonged to the four women until the CW decided to profit off of it because they could. The only reason the show was forced off the air was that the CW cut funding so far back that they couldn't survive another season and had to quit. Real fans have been asking for a reunion for years. Plus, the OG actresses weren't asked for a cameo or told about the reboot ahead of time. And then, when backlash got so intense the CW asked Alyssa to come back. But they didn't care about her or the other women before.
I have watched the first 3-4 episodes, and there are so many issues that I have about core plot, representation, and writing. Even if the show wasn't called Charmed it would still have the same issues as I listed before. And after the crap they pulled with the LGBT plotline I refuse to watch the show anymore. The amount of plot holes in this show is astounding. Was the original perfect? No. But no one ever said it was, and those examples you provided are useless because they had explanations for it later.
As for Harry Potter, they may have mentioned the series in the OG but only as a fictional world or in comparison (similar to the ** cringy ** nicknames in this new one). This reboot is blatantly stealing transportation powers from Harry Potter. That transportation has always been special for HP, but they have gone out of there way to use it. And they don't even have the decency to give it a name.

@matt. No, I don't want a do-over but I wanted something that resembled the original and homage to it without destroying the legacy and pretending it never happened. They could have easily chosen a different plot for the Pilot that would have included the real Charmed Ones. But instead, they went out of their way to ignore it.
As for sisterly moments, yes, that was one. One. one sisterly non-magical moment in four episodes. No mention of the fact that Macy all of a sudden moves into the house but there aren't any transitional sister phases. I don't hate the show, at its core it has potential. But professional writers should be able to write something that is already filled its potential.
